obviously not effecttive as the guy managed to get up after they switched the thing off. Its not going ot be effective agaisnt a really strong person who could take out 6 or 7 people. we need somethign better like a bag gun or net gun which wraps the suspect up in something so he cannot get his hand out. a bag gun which traps the subject in pvc wrapping would work quite well then you would even have to restrain them

@YoureAlwaysRight yeah that is how it is in Australia where i am from, only a few select cops are allowed to carry them , an they MUST be fitted with a camera so they judge can view if the use of the taser was needed.
American cops abuse the taser from what i have seen an need to first use communication skills to diffuse issues.

@vsboy25 It's clear that the taser violates the 8th amendment to the U.S. constitution. The 8th amendment is intended to protect civillians from cruel and unusual punishment by the government. To taser someone is absolutely cruel.
