  • well we know that train wouldn't have a problem if the lead engine broke down. Just power up the GP40's and ur good to go

  • now thats a freight

  • are they getting rid of tho's?

  • wow... so many GP's and u34's and f40's...

  • there were no U34CHs, they were gone since the 90s.

  • thats where your wrong pal i got a video of one on my cell phone

  • i meant on this train there werent

  • AWESOME CATCH!! Pretty soon, thats what the horn on HHP8 653's forward end is going to sound like. :D

  • Lol, I agree with you.

AND THATS A LOAD OF POWER YOU CAUGHT THERE!!!

  • Aren't these already being used on AMT?

  • The Arrow I's live on!!

  • comet IBs. They were Arrow I's but they were converted

  • The comet 1B's are going to Montreal for their commuter service. The Locomotives are ether going for scrap or to Mexico. I keep hearing different things.

  • The engines are going to AMT also.

  • is AMT amtrak

  • AMT is the Montreal Commuter Agency.

  • your thinking of the U34Chs that went to Mexico

  • What's up with the P5 horn on the CN engine, and where are all the Comet 1B Coaches going to?

  • Montreal

  • Hey did those njt locomotives come from Bay Head Yard because I seen those locomotives on railpictures in Bay Head Yard. This is so sad that they are getting rid of the GP40FH-2 and two F40PH-2CAT locomotives. The horn on the CN C44-9W engine sounds like the Metra F40 horns.

  • it's a P5, same as all metra units

  • OMG THATS AMAZING!!!!!

  • i hope all that equipment ends up in revenue service somewhere.

  • yeah

  • me too

  • NOOOOOO! The Gp40FH-2s are going to be rebuilt in to those ugly Penn Station rescue units and I still don't know what the NJT F40PH-2CAts #4117 and 4118 are doing, they're fine I thought! It sucks to see this, but it's a great video, and great catch. R.I.P NJT 4130, 4131, 4132, 4133, 4134, 4135, 4136, 4137, 4138, 4140, 4143, 4144, and 4145!

  • WE STILL HAVE 4145 actually! Thats a GP40PH-2. I can't believe we lost 4140 and 4135

  • yeah, it's really sad. 4145 I haven't seen in so long. what about 4147? and 4146? and do you know why 4118 and 4117 are in there?

  • we still have 4145, 4146, and 4147 and the others, 4148 is now 4219. 4117 and 4118 were retired a while ago.

  • do you know why the f40s were retired

  • Major mechanical failures, most likely.

  • shoot...

  • GP40FH-2 4136 4138 4139 4141 & 4142 are still alive. The main FH locomotives I see in service more are 4138 4141 & 4142. Those GP40FH-2 are not going anywhere for a while until the new ALP45DP arrives. If anything changes I'll keep you and everybody posted.

  • Wow incredible catch! NJT is local to me, a lot of those NJT engines I've seen on the Raritan Valley Line. (4137, 4144, 4117, 4140, probably 4118)

  • I'm gonna miss 4117, he pulled my train plenty of times.

  • I read that they are going to Montreal's commuter line
