There was a little boy like Daniel that lived across the street from us when I was growing up, his name was John. My mom used to help John's mom "exercise" his limbs everyday. The doctors told his mother to institutionalize him when he was born, but she refused. He was a happy kid, always smiling, and I think that is because he had his family and lots of love. I can imagine the amount of work a child like this must be, but they bring a lot of joy as well. Thanks for posting!
