unfortunately I'm really busy with school this year (which is why I haven't taken any time to make more videos). If you want a quick way to see my boolean algebra videos, you can search "boolean" on my page under "videos" which will return all my boolean algebra videos. Then you can see how long ago it was posted. It's a little inconvenient, but the only solution I can think of that doesn't take time away from study.
1 stands for 'a true statement', 0 stands for 'a false statement.
the '+' mark stands for 'or', so if two statements are false, and you ask the question 'is the first or the second statement true? (0+0) the answer is no(0 again).
same goes for true statements:
'is the first or the second statement true?' the answer is yes, represented by a 1.
shit vid but the best explanations!!!

True
I must say these laws are incredibly simple and low
with this you can only add thing up what you define as going together like you know numbers
So these laws work only when you have two of the same things

ok, so what's up with the 1+1=1 thing being correct? can someone please explain that to me? i always thought 1+1=2
KodeLiMe 4 years ago
this is logics, not ordinary maths.
1 stands for 'a true statement', 0 stands for 'a false statement.
the '+' mark stands for 'or', so if two statements are false, and you ask the question 'is the first or the second statement true? (0+0) the answer is no(0 again).
same goes for true statements:
'is the first or the second statement true?' the answer is yes, represented by a 1.
this gives 1+1=1

Nicely explained people are too used to the traditional definition of the '+' symbol.

Derivatives is quite difficult in my book lol! I don't get this! What's it for?
Kalamolng 4 years ago
I can do a video on derivatives if you want :P. This has nothing to do with calculus!
Russoft 4 years ago
OK I only took basic business calculus! I know its difficult that's all loL! I heard that you can fill up an entire sheet of paper back to back!
Kalamolng 4 years ago
Ah, these videos take me back a few years. Explained well and without the Arabic accent (which is how I had to learn it).

Same at my university, many of the professors don't know English very well.
Russoft 4 years ago
@Russoft That's making it quite hard for me as well. My instructor's Asian and has this wicked weird accent... AND English is my 2nd language.. :S!
