Well believe me Im not trying to be rude but the ps2 game cube and xbox were all released at about the same time the xbox was accused of stealing the the game cube controller design because they were most similar and Microsoft didn't make a processor just for gaming before and after the about the the shoulder or bumper buttons the way they were designed was because people complained about the way they were placed along with the start and back button and for shoulder buttons there very different.

Kiddy games don't automatically mean they're bad. Super Mario Galaxy is one that a lot of people call "kiddy" but it's actually a REALLY good game. You need to look at the games themselves rather than just thinking that because it's kiddy, it's bad.

Dream cast died because it didnt get enuf hype and it was realesed 6 months befor the ps2 was realesed it died in march 2001 the ps3 how ever is realesed now it's a next gen system and i think it's still good i find it fun and i think it'll make a come back should have seen the sales when MGS 4 came out went up like 50% or more lol thow ehh im not using blu ray really dont care much about it.

The difference in sales comes from the consumer difference. The Wii and DS are child/family consoles. The PS3 and 360 are "hardcore" consoles. There are more consumers for Nintendo because Nintendo chose a different consumer base. Often "hardcore" gamers dont like the Wii

Yeah, I agree that the DS has a great lineup of games for every games, but another point is that "hardcore" gamers often don't like handheld games either. I'm considering the PSP because of Remote Play. I loved PS1 games, and it lets you play them from anywhere.
My favorite Nintendo games are the old Pokemon titles. I love Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Crystal, FireRed, and LeafGreen. I'm not particularly fond of the newer games though. The Pokemon creators seem to be running out of ideas...

Umm... The PS3 has more than those two games. There's GTA and Oblivion so that well over 300 hours of gaming right there. There's GT5 prologue which has like 7 tracks and over 250 cars (a demo featuring more content than any racer on the 360 or the wii). Ratchet and Clank Future has plenty of replayability cause of all the stuff you can collect, same with uncharted. Plus the online games like echochrome and fL0w. The wii's best is the same games you've been playing since the n64... gimmicky
Yes, because those are the only games that are good games on the wii, and most of them haven't done anything new, whereas The PS3 has new franchises like Resistance, Motorstorm (which didn't show up till this gen, dumbass) Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Folklore, Eye of Judgement. And even the older franchises are doing truly new shit. Galaxy is the only game on Wii that did something new.

Ppl paid 50-70 etxra dollars for the LE versions of GTA4 and Halo 3, what did those offer? For a game that will offer realtime damage to the cars, 300-500 more cars, 5 more tracks, more online/customization options, new gameplay features, connectivity to Home, etc. etc. It's a taste for what's to come, and the taste is better than the competition. blu-ray was initially intended for the game makers so they wouldn't have to worry about filling up the dvd. They could make the level data bigger and the videos longer and to a better quality. My friends got wii's and they don't talk about them any more.

yeah I know, it's the third party games that make the Wii look bad, but any time it's Nintendo actually making the game, it turns out great. They're so good at making good games, the only problem is, they're just not making enough. Like the last E3 Conference from them was just terrible. now that they've got all the casual gamers satisfied, they're saying fuck you to all the hardcore gamers because they don't NEED games, they're making enough money right now. That's what they're thinking.

Kiddy games don't automatically mean they're bad. Super Mario Galaxy is one that a lot of people call "kiddy" but it's actually a REALLY good game. You need to look at the games themselves rather than just thinking that because it's kiddy, it's bad.

Dream cast died because it didnt get enuf hype and it was realesed 6 months befor the ps2 was realesed it died in march 2001 the ps3 how ever is realesed now it's a next gen system and i think it's still good i find it fun and i think it'll make a come back should have seen the sales when MGS 4 came out went up like 50% or more lol thow ehh im not using blu ray really dont care much about it.

The difference in sales comes from the consumer difference. The Wii and DS are child/family consoles. The PS3 and 360 are "hardcore" consoles. There are more consumers for Nintendo because Nintendo chose a different consumer base. Often "hardcore" gamers dont like the Wii

Yeah, I agree that the DS has a great lineup of games for every games, but another point is that "hardcore" gamers often don't like handheld games either. I'm considering the PSP because of Remote Play. I loved PS1 games, and it lets you play them from anywhere.
My favorite Nintendo games are the old Pokemon titles. I love Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Crystal, FireRed, and LeafGreen. I'm not particularly fond of the newer games though. The Pokemon creators seem to be running out of ideas...

There's stuff to do, but I don't like the actual Pokemon that are new. I liked the first 252, but after that the Pokemon creatures themselves seemed to be really lame.
Wurmple... I choose Caterpie and Weedle over that any day. Zigzagoon... I think it was a remake of Furret. IDK, it's just my opinion.

I'm talking about Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, and Pearl. The Pokemon you can catch seem to have lost their appeal.
I would choose Bulbasoar, Charmander, and Squirtle over Treeko, Torchic, and Mudkip any day. It's just my opinion. The only one that seems to make sense to me is Treeko.
Fire/Fighting seems weird to me. The same for Water/Ground. I don't know a lot about Diamond pokemon, but there's a tree turtle, and a penguin... -.-

It's pretty obvious why the wii is selling so much. It has a gimmicky controller (when all of its best games work better with the gamecube controller, guess what?) and it's the cheapest. Umm... The PS3 has more than those two games. There's GTA and Oblivion so that well over 300 hours of gaming right there. There's GT5 prologue which has like 7 tracks and over 250 cars (a demo featuring more content than any racer on the 360 or the wii). Ratchet and Clank Future has plenty of replayability cause of all the stuff you can collect, same with uncharted. Plus the online games like echochrome and fL0w. The wii's best is the same games you've been playing since the n64... gimmicky

Yes, because those are the only games that are good games on the wii, and most of them haven't done anything new, whereas The PS3 has new franchises like Resistance, Motorstorm (which didn't show up till this gen, dumbass) Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Folklore, Eye of Judgement. And even the older franchises are doing truly new shit. Galaxy is the only game on Wii that did something new.

(Plus Gran Turismo has done this before and it sells everytime. Every reviewer has admitted that if GT5prologue were a stand alone game, it beats the competition. Ppl paid 50-70 etxra dollars for the LE versions of GTA4 and Halo 3, what did those offer? For a game that will offer realtime damage to the cars, 300-500 more cars, 5 more tracks, more online/customization options, new gameplay features, connectivity to Home, etc. etc. It's a taste for what's to come, and the taste is better than the competition. I guess that kinda logic wouldn't make sense to a moron, but whatevs... and you still haven't addressed my main point in this video either...

blu-ray was initially intended for the game makers so they wouldn't have to worry about filling up the dvd. They could make the level data bigger and the videos longer and to a better quality. My friends got wii's and they don't talk about them any more.

The only reason the Wii is doing well is because its the cheapest shit on the market and thats why its attracting more non-gamers.
