Hey Bonnie, you are amazing! I wish I had the ability you have. I type with a pen in my mouthg (haven't splurged on a actual mouth stick yet :oP). I use sticky keys (god send!), and I run the touch pad with my right hand if I'm not too exhausted (which is 90% of the time). I also can run the touch pad with my mouth.
Thanks for a refresher on using the sticky key. I have learned that just by accident. Although it seems annoying, I can see where it can save us some strokes. There are zillions of shortcuts to use!
You seem to be a pretty fast typist. However, Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice recognition software can type over 100 words per minute. You have a clear speaking voice, so you'd be able to use it effectively. Have you ever considered it? Easter Seals Massachusetts recently provided me with extensive training in Dragon, so I'm now able to use a computer almost as well as an able-bodied person. BTW. Dragon is also excellent at mouse movement.
Wow! Sounds like those dictate programs have really improved. I still prefer typing but I might be interested in trying one out some day. It could be very helpful in writing a letter for me...not so much for the disability part but because it sometimes helps to say things to get ideas on what to write. Thanks for posting the info because the more ideas, the better. Everyone's disabilities are different and this is another solution to help more people. ;)
Bonnie, At work I use my left hand with a track ball and at home I use a mouse. With my right hand I use a typing stick. We all have our own way to master the keyboard... nice video, and funny, mike.

@rashelgabyTaylor On a Mac go to system preferences. Click "universal Access." Turn on sticky keys.
