Heh, I was barely more than a baby when I watched my brother play this game when it came out. We didn't beat it til we revisited it in our 20's, though, after finding it at a garage sale with a nicely cared for NES. This brings back memories. :) Thanks for LPing it Dari!

After playing the first Zelda game , I always felt this was an insult to the original . The games graphics reminds me of one of the Peter Pan games they made for the nes dont remember which one but never liked this game the graphics and bad story plot turned me off . To playing this game

what up dario! was wondering if you knew you can get health pots and magic pots from those stone gargoyle heads throughout the dungeons sometimes by stabbing them in the face. also at the beginning of temples the knight statue at the entrance some times will give you health or magic if you stab them in the helmet. just be careful because sometimes it spawns one of the knights!

I actually have a trick to get to level 7 or 8 attack from the first temple relatively quickly: grind on bubbles by killing them, moving far enough for them to spawn again, and always invest in attack. It only takes a couple of hours

Anyone else notice that the red guy who chunks stuff at you moves EXACTLY like the Hammer Bros. in the original Super Mario Bros.? Not just because he throws crap at you, but he also has that little hop that the Hammer Bros. have. Interesting.

This should be an awesome LP man. A no death run of this game would be pretty hard because of all the bottomless pits in this game and the difficulty. I am really looking forward to seeing this.

This is my favorite game in the Zelda series. I really enjoy the challenges in the game. Plus it is a bit of a switch from the original Zelda.

I always played with my level ups being Attack -> Life -> Magic. And there are seven palaces. Six normal and the Great Palace. And one final comment, concerning the skull things, if you do kill them, they're worth 50 exp.

I had this game at my cottage... Until someone broke into my cottage and stole my NES and all of my games (including this one). They didn't even take the DVD player or other electronics... Just the NES.
