  • Liz Callaway's rendition belongs in the elite company of Dorothy Collins, Donna McKechnie, Barbara Cook ... and damn few others.

  • One of her finest live perfomances. thank you sooo much for uploading! Liz has one of the most beautiful voices broadway ever known

  • Beautiful thanks for uploading! <3

  • This is terrible IF you are not a loser, and if you already know Ute Lemper's version - this sounds like a kid and not even a really bothered one - Ute on the other hand, now she sounds like she has more than loved, more than lost & more than suffered. (And then some:) Wake up yankee idiots - it's ART or it is merely craft. Stay a Relativist jerk & fool, but Art is superior because it is super human, etc. (Another example: Craft - you sell stuff, Art - YOU SHIFT A GODDAMNED PARADIGM!)

  • Great voice, but why does she hold the microphone in front of her face? Someone should have caught that at the rehearsal.

  • @Doromir You know, there are so many shades of idiot - there are even people passing themselves off as cultured or in the know, and yet, are as big as idiots as those that think Gun freedom, Drug war, Religious hypocrisy and Imperialist imposition will make the world better or safer or whatever. Could this comment be anyone else other than a yank? Maybe. But certainly an idiot. Like the VOCAL INTERPRETATION or not (I don't)- it really doesn't matter even if she did a "Hawking" in a wheelchair!

  • If you want to have your heart broken just by a good story song, listen to Liz singing "When Hope Goes" from the Off Broadway musical of the film "The Spitfire Grill." The song is exquisite, and Liz's rendition demonstrates why she's held in such high regard by her peers and her fans. I am in awe of her talent.

  • Class, pure class.

  • Would somebody please hurry up and revive this show on broadway?!!

  • @justasondheimbaby There is going to be a production at the Kennedy Center starring Kim Catrall as Phyllis and Bernadette Peters as Sally..of course with hopes of moving the show. The book doesn't work but these songs are beyond glorious, one gem after another.

  • @pudgeuncle Love love love

  • @justasondheimbaby I don' t know why but the latest I've read is that Jan Maxwell is now playing Phyllis. Elaine Paige is Carlotta.

  • Amazing voice. Loved her in Anastasia and Lion King 2

  • she has the most beautiful and angelic voice on the planet! i love her

  • liz callaway is one of the best if not the best...

  • So intense. Beautiful storytelling.

  • Wonderful rendition! Amazing your voice is sweet even when belting your butt off!

  • that's 'cause she knows how to sing and probably doesn't even use the word "belt."
