your problem it's you fps, i had the same problem . i was jumping 243 max... and had 290 - 300 speed , you must change you video component so your fps goes higher , with 60 fps you will only jump 245 max .... CHANGE IT AND YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE... it's not because the strafes or the number of your strafes the problem is you video component...

your pre is bad and you starfes are bad listen very carefully first starfe must be very large i can make 248 ljr with 3 strafe i make very easy 240+ with 2 strafes :1 Strafe large 2 a bit smaller and 3 the same try to do this and try to make sync over 85 ;) in this way you will certanly jump better

You just have to make strafes larger and the most important strafes are the first 2!!! So make them larger and duck as far you can!!

That is it and about the prestrafe,you have to

turn (right,left...) very quick before the jump

and you will gain more Prestrafe!

for me is easy to jump with very slow mouse!

And make your own demos and watch when you are pressing "A" and "D" and fix this..

Try gettin a higher Pre and dont go 6 strafes start out with 3 becuase you should be able to hit 240 in 2 strafes easily once you get 240's down w/ 3 strafes then more up 1 strafe everytime untill you get good enough to hit 250's 5+ strafes

Here some help, To small strafes, then you have such a bad sync. One thing you need to learn is smooth strafe "then i mean straight strafes" after that you need to learn more strafes and allsow get better sync. Do them quickly, it works for me. I've got 254 10air block, and 266 10air block. so just do you thing !
