  • try to stand!!

  • Thxs. I have MD my arms r weak sometimes transferring lower level to a higher can be difficult. Like on the sofa which is low and getting back in my electric chair was a major problem. So i took the padding off the chair it is only Velcro so then i can easily slide over if u have something to put over the velcro so u don't get stuck. I head into my bathroom to transfer no problem. Put the chair pad back on. Might want to use in a pinch if having one of those days when transferring is a B@#!%

  • do your hands can feel the things u hold?curious

  • @jaycee8012 I have sensation on my thumb and index, but not the other 3.

  • I'm a C6/7u as well. The way I transferred from chair to chair was to face both chairs facing a wall and use my head as a pivot. I stopped doing cause it was starting a premature bald spot. But, like you my power is taller than my manual. I just don't have the strength or faith in myself to go from manual to power. Thanks for giving your ideas and ways of dealing with quadriplegia.

  • what brndandmodel is your electric chair? which ou likbetter electric or manual?

  • nice

  • your electric chair seems higher then your manual one yet u made it across. good job!

  • @aaronyeokc Yeah it's about 2 or 3 inches higher. I'll do one from my sofa. That's a big lift!

  • @GrizzlyMcBearson u have triceps?

  • @aaronyeokc Yeah, they came back a few months post.
