Hiya, nice vid. I have a Montefeltro in 20ga which I just picked up used. It's in pretty poor state of cleaning. Now, trying to strip it, I can't get that friction fit bolt handle out with finger power. Is there something I am missing, or do I just need to put my purse down and apply some elbow grease?
got a super90 myself its the older version. its chambered for 3" magnum which i dont use that often. it will chamber and fire a 3" shell but if you load another 3" shell into the magazine for your second shot the cartridge will snag as it leaves the magazine and jam the bolt ? any ideas or thoughts. it shoots perfectly with 2.3/4" shells i never have any problems ?
Great video for those of us who don't have a manual. I downloaded the manual from Benelli, but it sort of has rinky dinky cartoon pictures. You did a great job and I want to thank you. It makes it really simplified.
@joewger Thanks for the kind words! I'm very glad that it was helpful and I always appreciate you guys taking the time to watch. Have a great weekend!
When I want to really clean a barrel, I'll send a patch that's saturated in solvent through then let it set while I'm cleaning the rest of the parts. I might even then walk away and leave it for an hour or two. When I come back and clean the bore all the fouling comes right out with very little effort or extra applications of solvent. Just let the solvents have some time to work and it makes it a lot easier on you.
I looked up white lithium grease and noticed there are several different kinds and none seemed to be specific for firearms. What kind do you use? Thanks
@LadyBizzleBoy Any gun grease should do especially in warmer climates. The stuff I was using isn't specific to firearms either. I think it's automotive grease but works great.
@Patriot36 Thanks for the prompt and thorough explanation. I'm new to firearms and am very excited about a used (but in excellent condition) Benelli M1 Super 90 I recently purchased. I don't know anyone that could help me with it, so I've relied on the internet.

You're welcome man. The video takes took about an hour to make sure things were clear explanation wise. The actual cleaning would take just slightly longer than the video or about 15-20 minutes.

@huntercarbino It's not a common problem so you'll need a gunsmith who's able to diagnose the exact cause. Or...like you stated, stick with the 2 3/4
