I would recommend searching google for DIY ikea music studios - you can easily create stands for those monitors that will separate them at the proper angle so you can get that "sweet spot" for less than 30 bucks.
@roxstar1 You still want to get monitor stands because you're sitting too far back for their distance. You want your listening position to form an equalateral triangle with the monitors. If you sit 4 feet back you want 4 feet between them for instance. Also you don't want to be turning them in to face you, the tweeters have a wide dispersion and they need to be perpendicular to your listening position. Otherwise you will get colored sound and phase distortion.
nice setup.., looks like you need more space or a bigger desk,i work in a small space myself now. . i hope those bx5a's don't fall off your desk. i have some of these monitors on the way myself, i'll be hooking them to my m-audio delta 1010lt with the TRS rca to 1/4" connectors. will there be a difference in sound quality between that and balanced xlr?
@roxstar1 XLR is better quality than that silly headphone jack that you use. you talk about quality, but you have your computer hooked up using RCA?? wow..
Hi there, can you please give me a piece of advice, you said you can connect the monitors through a 1/8 jack from the sound card and x2 1/4 jack going in the each monitor. Will this generate a stereo sound without going through a sound mixer first? I'm not very familiarized with studio monitors and I got all confused reading the forums. Thanks, appreciated.
@calikiddable yep they are...well when u buy anything used ur takin a risk...kinda 70/30...luckily the guy who sold em to me they were his son's and he really didn't know their worth...thnx for watchin!
Hey great video man...but a bit of advice...you might want to move those monitors a little bit further away from the wall

Id hate to see them fall off. Maybe a good set of monitor stands would be good. It will also help you point them equally towards the sweet spot
