But it does sem that their not i don't wanna say as tough, cause they're still the toughest athletes out there, but they're not as tough. Just 1 example, during the night Bobby Clarke got his 1000th point, he took a slap shot to the head and didn't even touch the ice wiht his knee. He just shook his head to the side and kept goin. And it's just my opinion, but i couldn't see Chara doin that.

Maxkila , I wouldn't rip the Flyers cause , I always liked their style of play and though you guys beat us 4 straight ( and it was our first ever playoff appearance ) I like good hard hitting hockey and I'm glad that the Flyers won those 2 straight cups in 74 and 75 . I miss the rivalry that the Flames and Flyers had when whenever they played against each other , we had the big guys on our team ( Plett , Vail , Lysiak , Houston , Bennett , Brian Hextall , and others . I miss those days !

Oh man ! I remember that game like it was yesteday . I believe that was the 74 playoff game between the Flames and the Flyers . It was our second year in the NHL and our first ever time in the playoffs . The Flyers swept us in 4 games , but one thing that I liked about the Flames compaired to the Thrashers that we have now , they didn't back down from any team ! Well, notwithstanding the usual of bias; Atlanta fans were no angels. There's a video here on Youtube of the brawl between the Flames and the Maple Leafs from the '79 playoffs.

I remember watching the original game. Some fans were ejected from that game for throwing debris onto the ice during the brawl.
