IntereSTING... At 1:27, Sting has to take the first note (E) after the modulation from A major to C# minor - and he misses slightly. He knows it and it humbles him even more in the presence of great maestro. Memorable duo, though.

I cannot listen to this rendition "too" many times. Pavarotti and Sting complement each other perfectly. While it's obvious that Pavarotti is much more comfortable (and competent) in this genre, Sting has shown us to be enough of a musician to join this elite group of superstars. Actually, if the maestro was still on Earth, I would have been very interested in an album featuring these guys singing many more standards. Their voices mix well. What a shame this will never be!!

this is the best rendition of Panis Angelicus and the best combination of singers. Hats off to Sting because he has the hardest part singing the overlays but he pulls it off perfect which is hard to do live when the other person is right next to you. just beautiful
