Bryant is still playing at a top level, Gasol got his contract extension, and Bynum is still young and getting better by the dribble. The Lakers seem well set up for a potential dynasty! Kobe would need two more titles to tie Jordan in that category, but (yes, I know) Jordan was the MVP for all 6 of those titles. However, Bryant winning possibly three titles with a rebuilt Laker squad, to me, is just as impressive.

It wasnt until the league shifted to the no touch rules kobes ppg jumps 8 points and they win 3 in a row. Before that the Jazz and san atonio beat the shit out of them wih defense.
