  • too bad haiden wasn't real.... i hope Dprjones sues the crap out of them for emperconating a famous individual at a charity event. there HAS to be a law that bans such behaviour!

  • Was the show recorded? Where does one find it - I didn't have the stoicism for more than 8 or 10 hours of it.

What I saw was pretty great, though. Although I fail to get why Miss. Panetierre (sic?) was "uncomfortable" telling us what books she reads. Ah well...

  • YouTuber user scikidus recorded it. I hope it will be up soon - I missed two moonings - just when I got some tea they dropt their pants :-(

  • Hmmm, can't have that - mind you, it depends on who's doing the mooning, I suppose!

I actually missed Tfoot - went out to the store :( and I missed the second aronra session (with his, um, props!)

I'll look around for it. Thanks.

  • My guess is either it's porn/romance novels or she doesn't read at all.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen,

NephilimFree donated at Justgiving the incredible amount of 2 Pound Sterling, garnished with a pious comment in the line of "GOD made you do this, so go ahead and worship him".

    Ain't he sweet?

  • adorable!

  • sticking around for majority of that show was worth it. Got to see some of the community "let their hair down" so to speak (looking at you Tfoot)

congrats on reaching over 32k in donations.

  • Yeah, them atheist sure are evil ;)

  • Especially when those noble christians like VFX are so good at donating to charity ; )

    Damn us atheists to hell...

  • RAmen brother!

  • I wish I could've stayed for the last 5 hours, but I was too sleepy :(. It was awesome though.

  • it was fun, too bad you couldn't make it!

  • Watched some of it, and I've got to say AronRa was most fun and inspiring to watch. :) I would have donated myself if it weren't for that I don't currently posess any creditcard or a paypal account or similar, to pay with. But it's certainly been inspiring enough to donate to MSF or another charity organization the next time I see them raising money downtown. :)

  • I can't believe I fucking missed it. I'm going to go kill myself. Good day.

  • Don't kill yourself, the show has been recorded.

  • Fantastic, then :D. Where can I see it?

  • YouTuber user scikidus recorded it. I guess he is processing it right now.

  • $31,000!!

  • $32,000!!!!

  • cool

  • i clicked the link and saw LACIGREEN. FUCK LACI GREEN AND FUCK YOUR STREAM

  • lol yeah she was co-host for 20mins or so, i felt a little dumber after for some reason

  • a little mean but that made me laugh

  • 11:24 pm EST

    $30,337.22 raised so far

w00t, with an extra, w00t on top.

    thanks to all.

  • Think i missed Tf00t and Aron :<

  • Hats off to you guys. 23k raised thus far. That's bloody amazing!

  • hayden is a lie

    and so is caek

  • Watching you atm, kinda laggy, but livable, donation on the way too

  • Would donate if i could but im only 15 and i dont think im even allowed so much accses to my money :(

  • Just donated. Keep it up, guys.

Oh, and Tom: please write an email, so we can see what to do with the brights logo. Cheers!

  • NICE! :D you can easily seen my Donation for like 15 sek :P

    Temuldjin 100 $ :)

  • TK I will drop in when I am off from work. :)

  • Sweet!

  • is the show delayed, or did I fuck up the time zone conversion and miss it?

  • Just started NAAAOOOOOO!

  • I was actually considering donating until I saw coughlin666

  • don't make the people suffer because you don't like 1 performer :(

  • People are gonna suffer anyway, my contribution (Nor yours) will really affect this

  • Of course it will affect it. They've already raised enough to buy malaria medicine for thousands of people. Of course it won't stop suffering completely but it's definitely a lot better than doing nothing.

Stop looking for an excuse to not help people.

  • I don't need an excuse... I don't believe organized charities help much is all. How much of the money goes towards administration? And how much actually helps the people in reality? I suspect the numbers are "doctored" and a lot more of the money goes towards someones yacht.

  • hey but doctors without borders are legit

  • you're free to feel that but you're also free to state your armchair analysis of things you'll never factually investigate elsewhere, and leave us in peace.

  • yeah.... ok

  • I personally know doctors who have gone to third world nations for MSF and donated their time. According to them the housing etc for the doctors overseas were *very* basic and there was no monetary compensation for the doctors themselves. There's lots of shit in the world to criticize without using your imagination. Pick something actually corrupt.

  • yes and if 100,000 people had the same attitude, then the amount of suffering in the world would be NOTHING compared to it is now.

Im unemployed, have next to nothing, and i still donated something.

  • Yeah, but you have to admit, people who make comments like mine actually make others want to donate more just to spite me.

  • show starts 1 AM on west coast USA .4 AM east coast USA

  • awesome prep!

  • It's "Tom"? It sounded an awful lot like AndromedasWake to me. ;P

    Good luck on the charity.

  • should be fun

  • I'll donate 20$ when the paypal link is done being under maintenance. I hope lots of people donate!

  • I bid on some of shit. Let see if I win!!!!!!

  • how the hell did you get hayden pantierre?

  • I understand she's a fan of Bad Astronomer Phil Plait.

  • You know....I donated a ridiculously small amount of money...still being a part of this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

All of you guys are doing an amazing job.

  • LOL DonExodus2 is Beaker!

  • Scrunchie of Science - lol.

    Great idea guys, really awesome.

  • All this spawned from VFX ripping off thousands of dollars from a charity, correct?

Seems you're better Christians than he!

  • Great video buddy

I will try to do everything I can.

I would love to make the blog TV session.

    God bless

  • I may not be getting my bank card in time to donate T_T but I'll still donate a bit when it comes in.

  • There's my donation at 2:00.

  • If you involve theoretical bullshit, that's two celebrities, as he's an actor on an ABC show in America.

  • Always funny to hear british people saying a french expression ;)

  • haha!you are SOOOO gonzo, andromeda...what a cute aliteration!

  • wow i didnt know the happy cabbie guy i knew from smp films video was supporter of the reason squad here :D

  • I would donate $300 if I was allowed to bite ZOMGitsCriss.

  • you can bite me for free, buddy :) consider it a consolation prize ;)

  • I need to get me a bloody creditcard. Soon.

  • If you have paypal, which you don't need a credit card for, you can go via justgiving.

I too don't have a credit card and had to wait 'til the justgiving page was set up.

  • I'm bidding on at least one of the auctions. :) if I don't win, I'll donate via the direct way! Helping out these causes gives you the greatest type of satisfaction.

  • The justgiving site is down

  • $40 for broken sunglasses? You're getting kind of a big head, don't you think?

  • Damn, wish I knew there was an auction, I'd put up some things..

  • Isn't that crater the wrong way around? lol

  • TK! WHY CAN'T I TYPE IN THE MAIN ROOM?!

  • what time will this start for the mountain time zone?

  • SkeptikSnarf,

2:00 AM. Google "time zone map" to verify.

  • i just checked, 3am, i guess i will miss the first few hours then

  • Dude, Hayden Panettiere supports the free thinkers' movement? Sweet!

  • I roffled the most at Q Dragon. shaking the ground with his giant house sized balls.

  • Cant belive you have invited Couglan 666 to this. Just an hour of bad language from his mouth.

  • I didn't organise the line up. However, you can always mute for an hour if you don't want to hear someone :P

  • Why isn't TheAmazingAtheist apart of this?

  • because hes an asshole

  • because he sucks?

  • He's pretty much separate from the "Freethinkers Clique" on YouTube.

  • Is there going to be the standard maximum user limit in the room? If so, there's little hope of actually getting in the chat.

  • I will not be outbid on the shades, plane, or zomgitcriss I am current high bidder! Suckers

  • i really freaking want those shades

  • Thank You Tom... Thank You so much for the inspiration. Not only just in your contribution to this excellent event but also through your standard videos. I will PM you soon with the details of what you have inspired me to do (actually what I'm doing)... Once again Thank You!!!

  • is that a real image at the end?

  • Yup! It's Galle Crater on Mars. :)

  • thats hilarious, ive never seen it before. thanks.

  • AW, was it really a good idea to depict everyone as Muppets?

    Ha ha.

  • Could someone please say approximately how many hours until the event, thankyou :)

  • Just coming up to T minus 11 hours ;)

  • No CDK007 :-(

  • I'm interested in subscribing to all involved with the charity event, but I can't seem to find "thepeach". Is this not the complete channel name? Please help my ignorant self.

  • @BigTopBrain

    The complete name is xxxThePeachxxx

  • It's xxxthepeachxxx if i'm not mistaken. If you can't find her you can go to my page and find the link with my subscriptions.

To be honest, she doesn't make a lot of videos and I feel she's still starting i feel. I cant say she has the quality like the others. But when she does make a video it's worth watching.

  • her name is something like xxxthepeachxxx or something similar.

  • Thanks guys, I got it.

  • i hope some kind soul records the events of this 24 hour blog for all of us who will miss the show.

  • scikidus (the chap who made the blogtv HQ site) is going to attempt to record it all.

Kind and brave, with an awfully big hard drive!

  • that is very awesome of him if he does. that way when i, and many others, come home from work we will not miss things.

thanks for the comment, cheers and great luck on the charityblog.

  • What song is this?

  • My own track.

  • Well done, man. Are you a part-time musician?

  • Damn I'm at work at 9 am tomorrow... going to miss most of the show

  • This proves beyond any reason or doubt how selfish and morally void all atheists really are.

    For The spaceduck!

  • Was that sarcasm or are you that ignorant?

  • Oh... this is a great idea. I hadn't heard about it. :)

  • Damn, I'm going to be on a sailing trip with no computer the whole weekend. I have no chance to tune in, but good luck :)

  • Great, I'm stuck with shitty wifi until Sunday evening.

  • Thanks for all the info, iv put this video up onto my MSN message to garner more interest.

Good luck guys, will be watching/donating.

  • The Space Duck is my homeboy

  • Good Luck guys

  • i think firstgiving is a rather inefficient way to donate money...

  • Why is it inefficient?

  • because 7.5% of what you donated go to firstgiving because you have additional administrative costs compared to donating it to MSF or any organization directly.

I mean it's nice to have a target and reach it and it's better to donate and have 7.5% deducted than not to donate at all. Nevertheless...

  • 5/5'd, fav'd and featured....

  • Because its only a symbolic auction? It's not the object that matters, it's how much money it will raise for the charity. :)

  • because ravenous fans are willing to pay that much for them.

that and it's for charity. you could sell a grilled cheese for as much with the right charity.

  • Can't wait for tomorrow!

I hope everything goes well, but I'll have my banhammer ready, just in case.

  • I cant think of a better thing to donate to. See you tommorrow.

  • I never really liked blogtv in itself though, just like twitter and ebay.

But heck... erm... I can't help but laugh about the item ZOMGitsCriss had displayed and what THAT brought up.

    $510.00

Nmaa, I just say to that: "wow".

I'm looking forward to your part as one of the most. The other ones are NonStampCollector, Rhysz (what? I'm Dutch too :D), AronRa and qdragon1337. At least, those are the ones I'm mostly looking forward to.

Damn, my PC is laggy if I run blogtv :(.

  • thats awesome

  • Speaking of clear skies, I bought my first telescope the other day. It was particularly auspicious (and accidental) timing for it, as it was the perfect night to clearly view Jupiter and all of its moons. Friggin awesome!

  • Can't wait. Can we donate at any time or do we wait?

  • @andid: People have been donating for a while now already, so you don't have to wait.

  • Donate any time - the total raised so far is already over the target of $10,000, but MSF/DWB always need more.

  • i wish i'd had a pay pal account or a credit card.

  • ahhh.... resolve the chord right at the end, pleaaase!

  • It would be great if people also sent this video to as many different youtubers as possible also any of their email contacts that they have. Thanks.

  • Clea skies right back atcha Tom.

  • The amount of feedback is incredible, and it would be fantastic to see it continue to grow. PCS needs to take notes on how to do a proper fundraiser.

  • What is that crater at the end?! That's sick!

  • I'm in.

  • :( i have to add their blogtv channel to type?

  • Clear skies to you too, Andromedas! Hope to see you there tomorrow, if absence is not imposed on me! ;-)

  • Hold on a second...did you say your name is Tom?

  • HI!!!!

  • Donate guys!!! :D

  • May the nonexistent gods bless Lord DPR Jones Akbar! :-D
