@trojanspaghetti I just did a name search for Peter Lenz on the motogp site and there is one mention on there.

They held a minute silence before the 125 race at Misano.

The search function is marked as a beta version so there's always a chance there's more on there that just isn't being found but I'm not about to dig through and find it.

I have no ambition to race, but seeing videos of Peter and the snippets of him in Twist of the Wrist 2 inspired me to be a better rider.

@trojanspaghetti Whether it was there or not or whether other sites have more info or less doesn't really bother me. I just mentioned it so you knew it was there.

It strikes me that the motogp website is pretty shoddy anyway so I wouldn't be too fussed about what they said or didn't say on there.

Most official sites of sport bodies are naff though. The good ones are usually courtesy of fans of the sport or of individual racers or teams.

@OMGz1122 i don't quite understand how you can say yamaha is falling apart? jorge finished 3rd in indianapolis, his WORST finish this season, which is more than just good. And the reason rossi's not doing his best season is because of his broken leg. Which isn't really yamaha's fault. Now i do agree that honda is the best at the moment, and that ducati is actually falling apart, or if it's just casey having a bad season, but do you really think yamaha's falling apart?

@XJorgeLorenzoSpainX thats a different story.!!! their has been a lot a spanish riders in the 125's and 250's jorge and dani recently in 250 .but it takes a special rider to win in the primer class the other 2 classes are really a training ground for moto gp thats why rossi has so much respect i believe he's the only rider to win a championship in all 3 classes . bottom line when your on the track your on 1 of 2 things a Japanese bike or a Italian bike lol enjoy the racing !!!!!!!

@floppyjim5 idk my i wasnt there that early today. i came around 12 but my uncle who was a volenteer there for out on the field if they crash and he said a 13 year boy crashed and later died in the hospitol. idk wat kind of race a 13 year old boy would be doing.

Was there and they didn't announce it until after the race due to the family's request. 12 and up race 125cc. The boy was extraordinary - unfortunately the rider behind hit him and that was the cause of the trauma.

The track has issues - bumps in bad places in the asphalt and slick - Rossi went down 4 times in the three days he was there - so did several others - check the moto2 race that same day.
