  • Lyrical perfection and they say weezy the best rapper alive uptown saturday night is about 14/15 years old and still hotter than anything weezy ever put out

  • When it was real!!

  • Dope...

  • dark beat, sick lyrics, 70's pimp vibe...Camp Lo were excellent!

  • Classic album. Top rap album of all time. I know that's a bold statement, but it's true.

  • HARD!!

  • These dudes are two of the best Lyricists/MCs ever, period. This album was great, and there more recent joints are even better, incredible.

  • This was a very good album but DEFINITELY not "the best rap album of all time" as stated in the description of this video. One thing I will say about Lo is that they were ahead of their time. I remember many people not being able to relate to what they were wearing in their videos so it kind of took away from their talent but they were good nonetheless. The production mostly by Ski was tight so definitely a good album.

  • sonny cheeba is nice

  • beat is maaad heavy

  • this is gangster any1 know where i could download the album?

  • hip hop ror real

  • I feel like this is a terrible song to start the album. It doesn't match the overall vibe of the project as a whole. I usually listen to it in order to strengthen Luchini but I think it is skippable and Luchini makes more sense to begin with imo. If you added a 15 second intro or something before the beat drops it would be perfect.

  • Hi, anyone knows what's the sampled song for this track?

  • BOMBA!!!!!!!!

  • Andre and messin' with either member of this crew. when it comes to being a dope MC Camp got it over Outkast all day. Come on fellas, I'm born and bred and currently still livin' in da boogie-down Bronx, yo. I think in the 30 plus years that I been alive I know a lil something about lyrics and Mcing.

  • bring lo back and not by the mean of shitty 50cent. LEGENDZZZZ

  • one of the hottest hip-hop albums EVER!!!!!!

  • just bought this album today. i got mad lucky, it was the last one in the store. :D

  • 13 years later it's still every bit as hot.

  • ...to this DAY my favorite hip-hop cd of all TIME!!! I can listen to this album all day EVERY day! its TIMELESS! and i have NO idea what they're talking about LOL! Been listening to CampLo since I was a shawty tho..

  • This coulda opened up a whole different direction for hip-hop but I guess cats weren't really taking notice...

  • Mad innovative, this coulda opened up a whole other direction for hip-hop to go in but cats weren't really taking notice, I reckon...

  • They don't do it like this anymore.

  • and they gave this 3 mics in the source wtf . Glad I didn't take their word for it lol

  • The source is cancerous to hip hop!!!! They dont have a fucking clue.

    This was a classic album!!!

  • love this shit

  • the illest thing ever to happen to hip hop

  • Camp Lo > All... Sookie sookie for the nookie

    - Nostalgic...

So happy i got it original - still great upload mate! - keep em coming

  • so.... there is an other version ???

  • If I put it louder and my right feet do the basic rhythm sub conscious it is nicey irie.

  • hahahaahaha pure dopeness

  • this is a very underated hip hop album

  • on n on n sum try da do dis!

  • classic boom bap hip hop. U gotta love it. Ski Beatz is crazy for this one. He is a solid producer. Camp Lo has a unique style i really feel them

  • got that digable planets flow...

  • man why people getting all offended n shit i like camp lo i grew up listening to camp lo.i have my opinion and its just that opinion.

  • Nah andre 3 stacks would not murk any of them...Did you listen to all the other Camp Lo songs? Like Luchini, Coolie High etc.

  • @bigtim2 Woah, No montezdariel is right dude. Outkast from the ATLiens and Aquemini days were insane. Camp Lo has three or four good songs. I love them. I love their old school style. But Outkast has outlasted Camp Lo. Andre 3K is the greatest emcee ALIVE.

  • @ahmad312 in New York we don't even talk bout Andre & Outkast when it comes to greatest MCs.

  • @bigtim2

Completely different styles. All 90s hip hop shouldn't be compared to Outkast just because of timing.

But lets not get carried away; they're nice, Outkast is legendary.

  • dude . what are u talking about . andre 3000 really started coming lyrical in aquemini . no doubt he will murk anyone right now . but when this album came out camplo was raps best secret . and jay z even bit thier flow sometimes on reasonable doubt.

  • I believe this came out in 1997 and Reasonable Doubt came out in 1996. And saying Andre wasn't lyrical in '94? Hrmmm....

  • this album was made same time as reasonable doubt .reasonable doubt came out first. dead presidents was a camplo beat if u didnt know . and outkast didnt start spitting that hot shit till atliens/aquemini . first album is my fav cause its the one that i understood first time when i heard it . they were young . and just spitting from the heart . wasnt that lyrically complex

  • Yeah, I did know that. But whose is to say who bit who? They both had Ski workin' for them. Either way they are both sick I live Jay-Z better, but I do hear Camp Lo is workin' on a new CD could be sick. And I'd have never heard some flow like OutKast did on Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, when I first heard it.

  • Outkast sounded a lot like The Heiroglyphics on Southern homie...I love the album but I thought they were the Glyphs when I first heard the song...

  • forgot to mention, I'm cuttin them right now for our dvd HoodLife Cyphaz Dvd Volume 11. They are too fkn humble and cool...they killed that allhiphop week this past Fall...

  • fuck

  • @montezdariel lol r u crfazy......they from the bronx dude

  • @pagola I lFuck with Camp Lo and OutKast just because outkast from the south dont mean they wack Scarface one of the illest and he from the south and guess what Fat Joe from the BX but he wack as they come so region has nothing to do with it The real southern hip hop from 1988-2004 was official niggaz

  • @AndreRedd1Empire Fat Joe used to be sick... When Big Pun and Big L were alive and well doing tracks with him in the DITC. And scarface is dope haha

  • @AndreRedd1Empire I hear you on that. Garbage comes from everywhere and so does genius. The South has been getting a bad rap for wack artists latley. Out in the BX I bet they have skinny jean wearing bums listening to some guy repeating himself. Some cats are just angry about the state of Hip Hop and need something to blame.

  • @montezdariel Can only agree with you man

  • @montezdariel your a faggot for comparing two ill cliques

there both fuckin nuts and don`t need your opinion

  • you must be outa your mind if you think oldschool out cast can see anyone you dont know music at all you must be from somewere else

  • @ripalltrac are you stupid?atliens aquamini shits on this album.i was a big camp lo fan but stop being a hater

  • @ripalltrac Outkast*

  • hip hop classic

  • i can't believe how awesome this song is...when i first heard this track i couldn't even begin to listen to the rest of the album until i fully absorbed this song. the greatest curveball i've ever been thrown by a rap album. on this album geechi suede is the smoothest cat to ever pic up a mic.

  • lol yep I replayed this many times before I got into the album incredible, what a track to open up an album with

  • i bought this when it came out<its good to see other people hav noticed finally<

  • IT's the LO......Need I say More??????

  • That's REAL TALK!!!

  • I still bump Camp Lo, and still get amp evertime I hear'em!!!

  • the hottest shit on earth in real life

  • search jigg littles freestyle

    bronx lyricist

  • thang about da lo which i really gotta take a late pass butter ahm i'm 42 years old and i'm really feelin deese cats.

  • A CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The deal is that Camp lo made a lot of niggaz shake and they tried to bury them, fuckin with their, distribution, marketing, promotion and when they first came out they were misunderstood, see they were ahead of their time and in some ways they still are. see way back when luchini came out niggaz was listening to a lot of gangsta rap and violent shit, I must be honest people didnt like The Lo when they first came out, because they were at least a decade ahead of hip hops natural evolution.

  • My dude, u speak da truth, hands down. How can u not feel CL they murderers n they kill any beat thrown at m

  • my cat. real doe? thanx 4 da info.

  • I always thought Camp Lo was way underated... They would murda, lil wayne, flo-rida and most of these Kats that are out now.

  • SEAWORLD!

  • best introduction song to a hip hip album...one of the best hip hop albums...very underrated album and crew

  • I agree with ya wholeheartedly!

  • MY SHIT!!!!!

  • this is dope! i love'd this record

  • Live!

  • good stuff.thanx.

grüsse aus wien (der heimat von peter alexander...)

  • Folks, check out the unique LYRICS in the description....!!

  • verse 6, it's "sustain that dain", not "gain"

  • verse #3, it's "and now she play my shadow", not "And I should play my shadow"

  • Verse 3

"how ya rock to this" not "higher rock to this"

    Verse 4

    "aquablue hovercraft" not "aquapool hovercraft"

    Verse 5

"dont fiend the pimp for his double mint" not "dont theme the pimp for his devil pimp" lol that one was funny

thats all i can do for now

  • Corrections to your lyrics-

    Verse 1

"Carlito influenced" not "carly do on flowin"

"homicide scene" not "how my sign seen"

    Verse2

"octopussy do tha wop" not "do tha why"

"set to tame divas" not "sip the tang divas"

"its the kid" not "its the key"

"doctor feelgood" not "doc that feel good"

  • "Sip the tang divas" was also a fine lyrics! ;-)

  • @THEREALghostlaced isn't it "do the watusi for the night"? like the dance from the 50s?

    and "eat the pumpkin pie"?

  • @TheLandInTheSea Yes, it should be "do the watusi for the night".
