i really am ubsest with this game but the thing is,when i first watched videos of it i got completely excited because i thought that there was going to be epic battles and you choose wich side your on,but then in kotor 1 it turns out you have to be with the republic,i was expecting that you can join the sith,thats what really turned me down,long story short i really loved the game but it wasnt as i expected :(

I loved this game, and this trailer, I'd like watch it everytime before I played. Specially the parts with Bastilla and Malak, and it's hilarious when Carth spins around as the grenade or mine blows up.

hey i just got this game and it wont let me play it, i also just had windows 7 installed, could that be the problem?

@jmc59462 The game has trouble on new systems that have processors with multiple cores and newer operating systems (Vista, 7). To get it running, you're going to need a working version of Mss32.dll (downlaod it or copy-paste it from the KOTOR2 folder if you have it). Also try settings compatibility mode to XP SP3 and run as admin. If you're using a crack, find a working one.

The game is pretty unstable and crashes qutie often (once an hour is a good estimate). I have win7 aswell and it's doable.

Can someone explain to me? KOTOR I and II are my favorite games ever but i'm confused about III. will three be able to be played as a non-live single player storyline as well as a MMORPG? or will it be strictly MMORPG where i will have to play it live? any help would be greatly appreciated.

guitardude578 as far as I know the new "Old Republic game" is only for PC and is is an MMORPG only you MUST have an internet connection to play it. However it is not called Knights of the old republic 3, and I personally am hoping that with the success of this upcoming MMORPG Bioware will decide to make a KOTOR 3 for the console players...but its probably just wishful thinking though :(

Star Wars The Old Republic is NOT Knights of the Old Republic 3. those are 2 diferent games. however Kotor3 and Battlefront 3 are games in progress. The Old Republic is a massive multiplayer online game like Star Wars galaxies. you will have to pay month by month to play it. and NO there will be no singleplayer. when Kotor3 is finished you will be able to play it on PC and consoles probably.

No. They never said that. They said that the MMORPG has so much content in it that it's AS IF you're playing KOTOR 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. LucasArts announced that the actual KOTOR series has come to an end.

Star Wars KOTOR 2 i think had better combat options and started out as what everyone wants to be..a jedi.

but Kotor 1 has a better story,its more challengeing,and gives you a better understanding of old republic history

yeah i really liked the story line to KOTOR 1 better thahn KOTOR 2, but ireally liked how you had to make your way to ebing a jedi in part 1, as for pt 2 i liked how the battles turned out somewhat, it had its moments but we'll see whats in store for the future ;)

Best part of KOTOR 2 was the obvious influence you had on the future and on your compatriots, a thing only hinted at in KOTOR 1. By the way, thanks for uploading this, haven't seen it in years! I wish they'd make KOTOR 3 instead of the new MMORPG :(

agreed, the ability to train ur companions as jedi was awsome, and u have to actually earn their trust in that one. i like the idea of a star wars mmo, i like the idea of it being befor the movies unlike galaxies, and that bioware is behind it this time, but at the same time, a kotor 3 would have been good too. oh well
