  • "Dear Child, You are my offspring. Nothing will ever separate you from my love. I will always comfort you. Unless you don't believe me, or you're gay, or you voted for Obama, in which case I will torture you for ever and ever in the torture chamber I made. You know I'll do it, too. I already tortured and mutilated and killed and abandoned my only REAL son. Trust me. Your loving Father, God."
  • No not 'child'. Offspring YES according at Acts 17:29. Nothing will separate you from my love?? Only those who are IN CHRIST can claim this promise from Romans 8. You are mixed up about those who are saved and those who are lost.

God laid on HIM the iniquity of us all. Yes. That is because HE SO LOVED THE WORLD. Gay's can be saved and Obama supporters. Whosever WILL (Revelation 22:17)

  • @xpmatt37 "Whosever WILL" Unless god has chosen otherwise. Romans 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth Isaiah 63:17 Why, O LORD, do You cause us to stray from Your ways And harden our heart from fearing You?
  • 'He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.' (Proverbs 29:1) Here is a man who was shown the truth MANY TIMES, yet he HARDENED HIS NECK. This verse shows that the MAN HARDENED HIS NECK OFTEN and thus was destroyed.

  • In 2 Thessalonians it is the same. God gave them the TRUTH in the form of the GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD yet they HARDENED THEIR NECKS and the ANTICHRIST GOT 'em' (or WILL GET 'EM'..still future). God does send strong delusion upon those who HARDEN THEIR NECKS. God is not UNRIGHTEOUS though, man is.

  • @xpmatt37 " the MAN HARDENED HIS NECK OFTEN "

You're sure good at finding things to support your errors.

    I was referring to Pharaoh,

whose heart God hardened first and as predicted.

And regarding whom Paul said that God hardens whom he will,

NOT who has first repeatedly hardened himself.

    "WHOM HE WILL, HE HARDENETH"

    Romans 9:18

  • @xpmatt37 "God laid on HIM the iniquity of us all." Talk about a volume discount! Each person was cursed by god to eternity in torment for their piddly sins. But Jesus, who took upon himself the sins of the entire world (not just those of believers) does NOT have to spend eternity in hell. No, he has an unpleasant week, a really rough afternoon, and a couple of days (not "three") in the grave, after which he hops up to be the King of the Universe! Now THAT is a blue light special!!
  • Three days and Three nights in the heart of the earth. You said that you are a genius and say things that are supported by the scriptures, right?

'For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.' (Matt 12:40)

During that time Jesus went and preached to people in Hell. How about that?

Isn't that AMAZING GRACE! They rejected the preaching of NOAH yet got SET FREE LATER by JESUS HIMSELF!!!!

  • @xpmatt37 "so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.' (Matt 12:40)"

So tell me again the denominational explanation

for how Friday evening to Sunday morning

is "three days and three nights"?

Just another lie, false prophecy, error, contradiction in the Bible.

  • There was a HIGH DAY. The Jewish passover was on a HIGH DAY.

If you look into the timing of the crucifiction and PASSOVER: Christ OUR PASSOVER was sacrificed on a HIGH DAY. Three days and Three nights, perfect, just as Jesus said in Matt 12:40.

  • @xpmatt37 Repeating the phrase "HIGH DAY"

does not make one day and two nights

into three days and three nights.

    Fail.

  • When Jesus says something for example THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, no matter what the critics say, they end up being proven wrong.

The HIGH DAY if you study the Jewish feasts is where they 'miss the boat'.

Faith and Belief in the truth yield blessing and growth in Christ.

  • @xpmatt37 "You said that you are a genius"

    'I said that I am a genius?

Why do you tell these lies?

Either show where I have said this

or provide a retraction and apology.

  • Yes, that's right. I read it wrong before. You said genuine. Not genius. I was wrong about that.

  • @xpmatt37 " I read it wrong before. You said genuine. Not genius. I was wrong about that."

    Wow.

It took a hell of a long time to wring that tiny admission from you.

Yet you blithely assume that everything I say is wrong

and everything you say is correct.

    As all may plainly see,

    it ain't necessarily so.

  • I did say that on the other page. Sorry about that.

No not everything I say is correct.

But God, He is ALWAYS RIGHT.

You are losing this 'fight' because as the scripture says 'Let us NOT FIGHT against GOD'. You are fighting against God my friend.

    Love the LORD YOUR GOD.

    Submit yourself unto God.

  • @xpmatt37 Do you not know what the word "child" means?

Or are you adding words to MY writings now also,

    pretending I said "MY child"?

Your comments are becoming so irrational and dishonest, matt,

that I am inclined to withdraw.

I don;t care to be party to a man's increasing dishonesty.

  • Can you explain this for me? Can you go over the 'child' part again.

Thanks and how about asking Jesus to REVEAL HIMSELF TO YOU?

He will DO IT. You only need to ASK. (Matt 7)

  • All over scripture you must stop sinning. If you can remain saved and live in sin,This is called a license to sin. True faith will have good works with it. Or its dead and your salvation is also. Faith can die. Grace teaches us to say no to ungodliness( sin)

This is true grace. Not working for salvation. But proof of true faith. this gives access to the grace of salvation. Oh and repentance for salvation in the bible means to change your mind about living for SIN.

  • The BROTHER who was in sin so much that he had his FATHER'S WIFE was a born again Christian in FORNICATION with his STEPMOTHER. 1 Corinthians 5 says that he was judged by GOD. NOT the same way as the UNSAVED WILL BE JUDGED LATER at the GREAT WHITE THRONE (REV 20) but NOW in this age he was judged in his FLESH! He was delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. SAVED. NOT SENT TO HELL.You have wrongly divided the word!

  • @xpmatt37, no sir. This scripture simply says that paul has heard of this, is writing back saying as a judge that they should put him out of the church, that Satan may destroy his body and his soul "MAY" be saved. Your faulty theology causes you to change or read into scripture things that are not there. I dont expect humility from you in that you may be wrong. But you are.

  • Paul said that he judged this sin AS THOUGH PRESENT.

The judgement on the believer's flesh for the works of the flesh is 3 FOLD: weakness, sickness and finally if no repentence physical death. 1 Cor 5 matches 1 Cor 3 and 1 Cor 11 in this manner. You must rightly divide the word of truth Brian. 2 Tim 2:15

  • very wrong again. So many false teachers on youtube. I wont debate with you. I must get busy doing Gods will. You should sincerely ask God to open your eyes to the truth. Please do this even though you say you have it.... just ask Him.

If you will repent and humbly ask? Send me a note for prayer. be well.

  • you turn from allah to Jesus

you turn from mary to Jesus

you turn from buddha to Jesus

you turn from works salvation to Jesus

you don't turn from sin to Jesus

  • Amen.

Repentance (in regards to salvation) is turning to Christ alone for salvation, and that is all.

Personally, I think Jesus responded to the rich young ruler the way He did to prove a point. We cannot earn salvation on our own. I know some say salvation was different before the cross, and I don't know which I believe, but either way, a person who sees himself as a sinner needing a Saviour and then asks Jesus Christ to save them will be saved. :)

  • Also the word repent is often misunderstood and misused and confused but God's Holy Spirit will make the right interpretation of it. Repent is a word that means to think differently or turn that is to say from whatever form of belief that we have to the only way that God has planned for our salvation. It really means to possess the right new concept toward God. This is in regards to salvation of ones soul.

  • Hi and thankyou for your comment.

God has only ONE WAY as you said in your video. ONE GOSPEL even though there are many OTHER gospels, ONE MEDIATOR and he also has only ONE BIBLE......

    Matt

  • The video has made a very important fact known about what is the true gospel that one must be saved now. Each individual must believe God for themselves and they must act on it to believe it in their innermost nature (heart). It must be taken-in by meditating and mixing it with faith believing God. God Love you and He is the One to believe!

  • Great Video! So important to understand as a Child of God, or someone seeking to understand the Bible and Salvation. Thank You. Well done.

  • Thanks Jessica, GREAT to hear that you are saved and going on for the LORD!

    Matt

  • Hi Edward, hows your ministry going?

Salvation before the cross was not exactly the same. For sure. Also in the Tribulation one has to ENDURE to the end to be saved. Endure: faith PLUS works, not taking the mark of the beast would certainly be works. Jesus said that in order to enter into life: keep the commandments. No mention of faith, no mention of believing in his deity even. He wasnt trying to trick the man, just gave the young man the truth for that time.

    Blessings

    Matt

  • But brother, no one EVER kept the Law except Christ, so does that mean no one was saved in the OT? The Law was always meant to show the need for grace (Rom.3:20) which the young man in Matthew 19 didn't understand. He thought he was righteous but LACKED one thing and didn't recognize that his love of his goods made him a lawbreaker and not righteous.

Keep up the good work brother!

  • Hi Brother, how are you? So there is entering into life; that's one thing in the text. Then there is being perfect; that's another thing in the text. He lacked one thing to be perfect but he didnt lack anything in regard to entering into life. He was a saved O/T saint but a lousy O/T disciple.

Matt 19 has lots of lessons. It shows the plan of salvation to get the O/T saint into Abraham's bosom after death. What do you think made the difference between the rich man in Luke 16 and the beggar?

  • Hi brother, thank you for the response. No, that man wasn't saved, see the account as it is stated in Lk.18:1824. That man didn't recognize the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, he called him 'good master' not Lord.

To be saved, one has to recognize the Deity of Christ (Mat.16:16)

That is why the modern versions remove 'lord' from the confession of the dying thief on the Cross (Lk.23:42).

The difference between Lazarus and the rich man was the same as it is today-faith (Heb.11:6)

  • Hi Edward, thanks.

Do you think salvation before the cross and after the cross is exactly the same?

You like boxing? Did you ever box?

    Have a good day, Matt

  • Salvation before the cross wasn't exactly the same since the object of faith was not the the Risen Christ. But to be saved one had to believe what God said and the means was always the same, by faith. Works can never have anything to do with salvation since salvation is always by grace 'lest anyman should boast'

Yes, I enjoy boxing. I did some boxing when I was in the Marine Corps and still like to hit the bags.

  • Amen brother! If I may, I would like to point out some things I disagree with.

The differences between the Kingdoms is between the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew) and the Kingdom of God(Mark, Luke), KH is a physical kingdom and the KG is a spiritual one(Rom.14:17).

Salvation was always by faith alone in the OT (Rom.4:6).

In Matt.19:16, the Lord is trying to get the young man to recognize His Deity and that he didn't keep the law since he clearly broke the 1st commandment (vs.22 cf Col.3:5)

  • Yes Edward, the kingdom of Heaven:Physical and God Invisible.

Faith alone in the O/T ? ehhhm...well not the same FAITH ALONE as the N/T for sure. .. In fact the plan of salvation in Matt 19 required commandment keeping to get eternal life and in order to get a REWARD as a disciple: the abandonment of earthly possessions. Its good what you brought out about the DEITY of Christ too!! The SURE mercies of DAVID were given to DAVID alone as an exception in the O/T. A preview of grace...thanks!
