Wow 6 thumbs down... that is a new record for me. Look I have no doubt in my mind that everything Ron Paul does, he does for love of the constitution. My opinion of him being too religious for my taste is pretty straight forward. As for my comment of him being off his rocker, he has helped move some of the biggest conspiracy theory's along in his time.

As far as conspiracies you are simply not familiar with Ron Pauls views, but seem to be more familiar with the views of some of his followers. For example if you read Ron Pauls last book END THE FED, he will be the first to say that he does not think it was created for world domination, but that it is not in the interest of the people. Central banking around the globe has evolved over history and they act in there best interest. If they did not, why are they so reluctant to open their books?

The FED is mostly private and their independence important as it is supposed to keep them out of the political spectrum. The FED is supposed to keep interest rates and price stability relative to the market and they do not, especially during elections. No politician wants the recession on there watch so rather than take our medicine or raise interest rates when called for by free market forces they do not. Then things go wrong and they blame it on capitalism when crony corporatism is the issue.

Yah, that's a tough one. Most Canadians are pretty happy about. Besides long waits at the emergency room it's not bad at all. And when a family member gets really ill, it's good to know it won't destroy your finances. Canada did a pretty good job of it, but they did it a long time ago, under different >>>>>

If they did it right, it could be a great thing for less privileged families, however sadly, I just don't think the American gov is on the right track with it, I think it's about control, not care. Well, With S604 we will get the information S513 is trying to get, but Alot more.

S513 is only (From what i just read) a bill that refers to action taken after March of 08, which leaves alot to wonder about.

All action by the FED before March of 08 could Let us know exactly what the FED was thinking Before the Recession/depression. What they did after the Recession started to unfold is only one piece of the pie. S604 gives us the WHOLE Pie (Except for the IMF, which needs an Audit also)
