I love this show. So glad when they released it onto DVD. I ended up buying both black and white and colored version. My sister and I would stay up late to watch Zorro. Sometimes we almost got into trouble since it was past our bed time, especially with school nights. We'd pretend to go to bed only to turn the TV back on. I always hated when they ran the marathons all night because I wouldn't be able to watch them all. Thankfully we were able to record it onto VHS.

I do recall that all the principal characters, including Zorro (the good guys) spoke with Spanish accents. The bad guys however, all spoke American English without accents. Surprising since most of the bad guys were as Spanish as Zorro himself. All of the bad guys spoke flawless American English...

The series is strictly a 'Spanish' affair it seems because almost no 'white Americans' appear (even though most of the cast are played by white Americans of course).

I sent a long fan letter to Guy Williams when I was 10 or so (with help from my mother). He responded with a very nice letter back and a large autographed photo. I treasure those items today at 60 as much as the day I received them.

This was my favorite tv show as a child. I used to watch in with my Dad when I was 3-5 years of age from 1958-1960 (I believe) not sure when the series ended, but it was great.

@Tobias2789 What happened with all the classic channels (TV land, Nick at Nite, Boomerang, Toon Disney) is that they put on recent shows. Classic has to be atleast 10-15 years old to some people & putting on stuff that was recent isnt classic. Then they removed all the classic shows to put on new stuff to get ratings

I find it insulting that all these new in the moment shows took over stuff that was well loved, thought out & has an outstanding fanbase. Thank God for Youtube, VCRs & DVDs!!
