I am asking, because the melody sounds correct. I would think that if the piano were actually out of tune, some of the notes would be off, impacting the melody.

@Jibjub1980 Ha, it doesnt seem like anybody ever answered you! This piano is just SLIGHTLY out of tune, like maybe a variance of an 8th step or so (about a quarter of the way between a white key and its adjacent black key) any piano with older strings will slip out of tune ever so subtly, and slightly more so if the player is heavy handed. That is what gives it the vibrating and somewhat harsh sound.

@Jibjub80 I agree, almost gives it a harpsichord like tone. My piano hasn't been tuned in AGES, partly because I can't play it very well, and mostly because new piano strings are rather expensive!

This theme is the Dungeon theme from the original Legend of Zelda for NES. This theme was also known as 'Labyrinth' and was revived for The Minish Cap on GBA, where it was played in the Royal Crypt. Also, the bass guitarist for the Zora band, The Indi-Gos, practices this tune in his room in Majora's Mask.

lol its because im illiterate when it comes to music sheets, i like this song and i really want to learn how to play it but its just too hard for me to read notes.
