The Indiana Attorney General would be well enough to focus on passing gun control laws in this state ... and not on teachers accused of misconduct. Sorry!! The responsibility falls on the school district to defend a teacher accused of misconduct ... particularly when an incident involved administering six swats on an unruly student in schoool ... and later accused of aggravated battery.
It is about time someone started caring about the teachers and students in the classrooms.I work in public schools. I have seen students kick, slap, punch, scream, throw books, strangle teachers and attempt to attack other students or attack them with little to no dicipline. Who would of ever thought our soceity would come to the point where the children run the school. The teachers get treated poorly, with little respect from the children, and little to no support from parents to change it.
i agree with public schools needing more dicipline. BUT....it has to be kept in check. I went to the catholic schools in the early1960s. The nuns we very "trigger happy" with the physical punishment. You could get slapped for forgetting your milk money. I saw kids get slapped out of their chairs.
