  • It must have been a very bad tree

  • my neighbor complained when i watched this video at 12 midnight..

  • It's real but I pity banana tree XD

  • He wants banana's

  • actually,i'm don't like Sam Kim Saen think about it muay thai make the name it self but this guy don't do anything only used muay thai name to promote him self and bokator.

  • it not about believe or not belive it about the true, old style cambodia martial art never boxing like muay thai and i'm not change how people think i'm just tell the true story that they have already record in the past.

  • STUPID TREE GIVE ME YOUR BANANA'S!

  • @ThaiBettas I don't agreed with you, I don't think everything made in China even i'm a Chinese. Muay boran origin from Thailand but not China.

  • @MilkAnime well muay boran came from bokator, (i think elephant style mostly) so originally its from cambodia, then the thai adopted it (when they took over) and changed it

  • @madeofhatred and nobody gonna be change the fact that muay thai original from thailand because thai have evidence.

    /watch?v=dnM3bHs3GL0&feature=related

    /watch?v=YItQW4ydVEI&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL550312F05A04C040

or search " Oldest Thai Boxing footage ever from 1920's " vs " Bokator/Pradal Serey, Angkor Wat Cambodia 1930s " cambodian alway jealous thai and want every thing that famous of thailand.

  • @arm61037 Sawasdee. Cambodia and Thailand will always feud over this subject. There is nothing you can do about it. If you truly believe, then believe. Don't argue a point that will not be accepted by another people. Only live knowing what you know. To argue over this is pointless. P.S. I'm Filipino.

  • @arm61037 both bokator and muay thai outdate those videos.

    those prove nothing.

also when you have a martial art in cambodia, and then thai people take over it, and shortly after develop a martial art virtually identical to the one from the country they just took over...

well.. i am no expert, but i am almost positive 2+2=4

    makes it look so cheesy.

  • JCVD QUICKBOXER

  • MOOOOOOOOOOOOOVIE

  • You guys know that its a myth the whole kicking trees today. Now a days we just kick 100lbs bags. The bones dont actually harden up that much and the numbness is temporary. If you stop training, the feeling comes back to you.

Its less hardening the bones than it is getting used to the pain.

  • try to kick a coconut tree

  • poor tree

  • Can somebody fill me in on how they repeatedly kick hard objects like these without hurting their shins? Are they used to it? Does their body adapt do the sheer training? It just seems impossible for the average fighter..

  • @dreamsyncc they've conditioned their shins to do this..

  • @dreamsyncc Its a very old method of conditioning the shin where you cause micro fractures on the surface of the bone and cortical remodeling occurs. This process causes the bone to remodel itself over time to become stronger to resist harder impact or force.(also known as Wolff's law) the tissue that surrounds the bone get tougher as well. Its a long process. Most fighters also use herbal liniments or Plai oil to speed muscle recovery and prevent blood clots.

  • @trichome666 cool to finally see someone on youtube who knows what theyre talking about and you have a cool sn i love herb that sparkles

  • Just like EPIC meal time! Bacon!

  • I think these dudes saw kickboxer the movie

  • Lucky for u!!!In greece we have olive trees!!

  • AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH MULEQUE!!!

  • what kind of tree they use ?

  • @ponciarello79 Banana but there are more than one bound together.

  • I'm gonna kick the tree in my gym :-)

  • FATALITY!

  • am i the only one who thinks that would hurt

  • @bigsboy100 it does hurt, at first.

  • Comment removed

  • @bigsboy100 it hurts like hell!!!

  • @bigsboy100 You get used to it. It's only to harden your chiin

  • @bigsboy100 yes of course it hurts but after time you get used to it and your bone strngtens and your nervers dies and you dont feel the pain and you endure much more with your chin bone

  • @bigsboy100 banana trees typically have the same firmness and density as your standard heavy bag in a local muay or kickboxing gym. I've kicked banana trees in Asia before. It's not so bad.

  • @bigsboy100 Trust me Kicking a banana tree isnt that bad.. The gym i work at has a bag thats harder than a banana tree

  • @bigsboy100 well thats why muay thai fighters conditioning there shins and stuff so it doesnt hurt :P

  • @bigsboy100 It actually hurts but when you do it often it changes the substance in your bone to be harder or hard as rock

  • @bigsboy100 Your shins will sting when done. Like they have been slapped for hours straight. It conditions your shins very well.

  • stupid

  • GIVE ME TOM POE !!!!

  • @armagibson : Wasn't that guy's name Tong Po?

  • @rockerguy82 oh nevermind... just Many people spell his name like that. I didnt know it too.. but probagly you are right,

  • it's not for kicking skill, it's to bring the shin bone out to make kicks more painful.

  • oh man freu ich mich auf meinen trainingsausflug nach thailand :)

  • Whats the name of the song at the end?

  • Damn! those legs must be made of steel..

  • LOL Punch effects , Nice Vid.

  • Green Peace

  • Well in muay boran you use ur head

  • I'm pretty sure this is Muay Boran

  • @R3action09 nope not Muay Boran :)

  • @R3action09 you are correct.

  • KICK THE TREE

  • Trees are living things. Do they deserve a beating? You may not realize it now. But you will.

  • @chackshack No mames !!!

  • "why hit trees, trees don't hit back." Bruce Lee

  • @chackshack Bruce Lee said that? Well, the tree is like the punching bag. It's used to harden your shin. When kicking something else, you'll understand.

  • I use to train with a jeet kune do master, he trained in that art for 42 years, I trained for a year and a half, also did some muay Thai, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and kickboxing. I truly feel like a force to be reckoned with, my dream is to train with traditional shaoilin monks and learn the ways of the old.

  • where is ong bak

  • i dont care what anyone says

    muay thai is nice

but i do love jeet kune do

wing chun and many other concepts

  • @greendagger87 Spoken as a True Jeet Kun Do follower. It's all about your own style, and what you can take from other styles and integrate into yourself. The more different arts you at least have a basic knowledge of, the better you are in your own style. Plus JKD has kickass foot work :)

  • @DrVoltage1 These guys train harder and more often.

  • @DrVoltage1 umm im not a follower just a respecter of the concept

ive only studied japanese and chinese arts but am a follower of ninjustsu

  • @DrVoltage1 i do have a style its called seijindo ryu

i can only dedicate myself 2 ninjutsu many styles have great foot work

i wont take from what havent attempted to master thats what i see when i look jkd nothing more than ninjutsu

  • Lol

  • to train muay thai, in thailand. with thai people is something special if you train some sort of combat sport. i recommend it. the thai people is so humble and fun. even though they whop your ass alot

  • why?

  • ok but brock lesnar would kill 3 of them same time :D

  • @Ljcenter Then Cain will wope Brocks ass

  • he voice is fucking my head

  • Thai boxing and Silat, may have actually been brought by Bhodhidharma "the blue eyed demon" wikipedia him

  • It was originally invented by the Cambodians and the Thai people stole it and renamed it

  • @Tinsletooth nobody stole muay thai. it is ancient fighting art of all south east asia. every country have the different name for it but thailand made the sport and make it famous

  • muay boran

  • He should try trening with an European tree:D

  • Adon's stage in Streetfighter 1. Even the music.

  • doing that just kills your shins and when you kick someone your shin goes crack and its in two :)

  • @TheZuba44 In a way yes, but the 'damage' on the shin eventually send signal to the brain to repair and regrow the 'damage' which actually makes the shin more accustomed to the 'damage. PLUS, the more they get hurt, the more they'll be used to the pain :D But I wouldn't recommend kicking banana trunks around though, it took them years to do that. LOL.

  • wasn't the teacher guy in human weapon??

  • i wish i can do like that ~~

  • this is muay thai in perfection see and learn.

  • know somebody the song at 00:10 ??

  • Muay Boran not only standing fight but also use grounding fight too.

muay boran can use everything in the body kill enemy.

Head to Foot u can use it.

Teeth to Finger u can use it.

and u can broke the enemy bone. because in the war field, u have 2 choice

    1.Survive 2.Die choose it.

  • Muay Thai = Thai Boxing use in the ring sport.

Muay Boran = ancient boxing. kind of Muay Boran 4 type is....

    - Muay Korat used at north-east in thailand point > Heavy punch

    - Muay Lopburi used at center in thailand " good fast

    - Muay Tha Sao used at northern in thailand " good intelligent

    - Muay Chaiya used at southern in thailand " good technic

Muay Chaiya different from the other are use technic and tactics a lot of other Muay Boran in 4 kind

  • @XxXl3urninGXxX

You missed a few other Types of Muay thai there. But very good knowledge ^__^.

  • These guys are good, real good....but with my training they could be the best

  • @MrRockets84 Best in failing?

  • Warning: Audio rape

  • Muay Thai fighters has a real steal leg.. Damn.. I wonder what happens if you got hit directly in the face with a steal..

  • Dats wat u call boran mma!!!

  • Of coarse not anyone can learn Muay Thai or Muay Boran.

  • Now this is whatI call Muay thai..Not that MMA bullshit.

  • @Goukimessatsu2 mma consists of jiu jitsu, kick boxing, wrestling and (muay thai)....

  • @vector17171 I know what (MMA) is. You missed the point of my post.

  • Muay Thai is a general name for this martial art in Thailand. For Muay boran we call it Muay Thai Boran and Muay Chaiya is Muay Thai Chaiya.

  • Hay look it's Ong Bak lol.

  • Beautifull and effective art, if this is a real Muai Thai, bcz now lot of kick boxing studio call them self a Muai Thai academy, but thay not.

  • great movie!!!

  • Thailand...love their martial art...hate their music

  • @stoneman472 i like thier art thier music and the native land

  • @stoneman472 The women are great too and not too expensive!!

  • @stoneman472 it is for concentrating and have some respect please

  • @putedbyawhip sorry dude but it stinks

  • Muay Thai was originated from Bokator! ELBOWS! KNEES!

  • the oldest

    Kalaripayat

  • Muay Thai VS KickBoxing ... i wonder ...

  • @kambing001 muay thai would win because muay thai involves clinch work and kick boing doesn't

so it's another weapon that the kick boxer won't have

  • @rosslegend yeah i agree ... somehow i think muay thai is the best martial art in the world ... cuz they were trained to be "immortal" ... their legs like ... oh my god! its metal!! ...

  • @kambing001

Comes down to the individual fighter. People keep thinking that it's about the differences in the martial arts, but you don't understand.

The person who trains more will win. Or rather, will likely win. There's a saying, "Anything can happen in the ring," and it's true to the letter. Perhaps a Thai boxer and a kickboxer fight, and the thai figher wins. That does NOT mean that Muay Thai is the superior martial art.

  • ASSH@LES

  • Lol finally a real badass video in youtube. I would love to train with those guys. Where is this from btw?

  • That's hardcore.....

I wouldn't wanna get into a bar fight w/ these guys that's for sure!

  • chahiya is not a technik of defense ?

  • i aint even got the guts to learn it

  • Muay thai was invented to kill in war.

  • @oishifunk. I'm disappointed that today Muay Thai students are taught to kick with their hand and elbow down to the side for power; however, this leave their face open for a sucker punch to the face.:_(
