@Lillieinator Thanks, and yes I get what you're trying to say with RUN to the Hills. (I actually made a more appropriate video for that song, 'Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills (Geronimo version)'.

Of course I chose the right song for Forrest Gump though, considering the loneliness of Forrest during much of the movie, and his sudden urge to just run. "But the miles they never seem to end, as if you're in a dream, not getting anywhere, it seems so futile".

Steve Harris says he owes his entire career to them...Bruce says his eyes well up every time he hears one of their albums end...Nicko says he wants to be in their band but wouldn't feel worthy....Dave Murray says he probably never would've picked up a guitar if not for hearing Muse...Adrian Smith is planning a tribute album to them...Janick Gers will be naming his next child Musenhoff.

Hey, you did a simply fantastic job putting this together! One of my favorite Maiden songs, too, one that is lamentably overlooked. At first I was put off by the intro, but it puts the entire video into a proper context.

I also agree about the song being overlooked. Maiden only performed the song live once. It was during 'Somewhere On Tour', in 86. think it was in Greece. I've seen no video footage but someone uploaded the audio.

@residualbill It was Sept 10 1986 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia @ Pionor Hall during "Somewhere On Tour" the band removed it from their setlist because they thought "it didn't flow with the rest of the setlist."

Yeah, I don't know. I felt like I wanted to change it up on the opening scene by keeping the audio from that scene but changing the visual, until the end of that intro. I just felt that it lacked intrest from the visual aspect, which is why I did it that way.

I'm totally with you on the feel of that scene - and in relation to the theme of the video.

Sometimes my brain allows me to have good ideas. ;)
