  • It sucked in water?

  • A 4l30e is the automatic transmission I believe. I have a 1998 isuzu rodeo. It's 2wd and automatic. And it's a 4l30e. By the way, just cuz it's 2wd doesn't mean you can't have fun. :) trust me I know. But dude your rodeo is nice.

  • The only thing you would have heard if he had sucked up water would be a couple of clangs and the sound of a tow truck towing that pile to a mechanic...

  • Lol Rodeos aren't made to run on water. I've got a few rodeo videos on here. Search mvcjr88 and check them out.

  • Cant wait to ge rid of our passport. Found out why they stopped making them. They tried to make a car/SUV/truck and it wasnt worth a shit. Had the tranny rebuild 2 times and its ready to go again. The linkage for the wipers are constantly going out. have masive sensorary problems. Just not a good rig. And I sure wouldnt take one out mudding. Leave that to the chevy's like my 76 ;)

  • @richardashe1992 sounds like YOUR problem was the fact that you had a PASSPORT not a RODEO lol.. There is slight differences between Honda and Isuzu. I have a 91 Rodeo, which is 1st Gen :).. Motor/Tranny/Drivetrain all GM/Chevy.. engine is a Chevy/GM 3.1... they are perfect for offroading, especially with the 4.30 gearing and the stock 31x10.5x15 wheels n tires :). But You are right, I wouldnt take a Honda off road either lol.

  • @StrtRcer2010 Dont mean to dissapoint here but the 1991 is very different from the one above. Next the 1991 only came stock with 120 hp. which I have to say is pittiful! Next it sits soo low to the ground for mud. To run 33 tires on this you would need a lift and LOTS more hp to clear any mud hole. Next Honda Passport was running all chevy parts also. Next niether company had even thought about throughin a good suspension on these. Not reall good for wheelin. Unibody.... useless

  • @richardashe1992 well i know the 91 is different lol.. but it at least had the 4.30 gearing and the 170 torque which does help.. and 12.5 inch ground clearance, which I think is lower than what it actually is.. the suspension is pretty good if ya ask me.. of course tho, its all chevy gm running gear :). at least for that year.. which is weird because same year passports were isuzu motors, but this year for isuzu it was GM.. and the rear end is a DANA44.. not isuzu rear end. :)..

  • @richardashe1992 O and as for the 33's.. i can fit em now.. but would rub a bit.. all i need is a 2 inch lift and it clears em fine :)..

  • the problem ended up being a broken exhaust pipe just before one of the cats. super loud and annoying

  • @black01edge sounds great to me

  • Sounds like a outboard boat motor with the trim half the way up . LOL I love Rodeos and puposely downgraded and got one again after selling a paid off 06' pathfinder SE 4wd to a 01'Rodeo LS but besides snow I wouldnt trust a stock Rodeo in crap and the frames suck but there awesome on the snow and really good on MPG's for a V6 SUV for around town and mountain snowboarding trips.

  • sounds like a boat motor . LOL I love Rodeos and went back to a 2001 after having a nissan pathfinder SE 4wd and the )! roeo ls get good MPG but I wouldnt do more than snow in 3wd.

  • sounds like a boat motor

  • notice how your left rear tire wasnt spinning? well i looked it up and our rodeos do have a dana lsd and all it takes is a little handbrake operation to get it to activate... wouldve gotten you outta that easier by putting the power to that stationary wheel because it has the most weight on it. try it out, got me outta trouble lots in the snow.

  • bunch of retards.. "lets drive this piece o crap into the middle of a waterin hole!"

  • i don't see a truck in this video?

  • Typical isuzu shit getting kicked out of it and she still running strong.. well Kinda of :)

  • @nightmareon208

every isuzu mud vid ive seen she is ALWAYS able to get out of it. Even if she dies right after it got out. She still got out. :P

  • not good lol

  • yeh thats defonatly toking on some water, on his plugs ad shit. i wouldnt keep reving it like that though be to scared to break it haha

  • well theres your problem you got 3 liters of gas in your motor

  • Heh, I ran some water through my stock frontera 2.2 diesel by accident once, and it sounded a bit like that... engine lived though, just coughed black smoke for a couple of days afterwards....

  • Who goes mud bogging in a rodeo??? lol

Nice try though, you made me laugh for 2 mintues haha

  • @DeviousTahoe Lots of ppl.

  • Yeah thats it...spin the wheels to create an even worse bog whole

  • yeah its missing all over.. lol WATERZ

  • little bri bri likes to take it up the but plox

  • all you get is ass boy

  • lol. sounds like the plugs have got water on them, xP

  • uuuh passports are the same thing as rodeos...only difference is the badges and prices... passport=99.9999999 isuzu

  • I thought they looked the same..

  • aaahhhahahahah fail. He obviously tried to go to fast and flooded his engine. =D

  • or a honda passport?

  • u mightve got water in distributor and i probly got ur wires wet too

  • Okay JUST so you know - foot to floor while not going ANYWHERE isn't going to help you.... get some lockers and a winch and stop thrashing your pavement queen.

  • 1997fordprobegt has been downrating your site bad

    thought you wanna know

    check out his recent activity.

bi bri has butsex with tyler plox

  • Its a fuel injected it doesnt have a carb..

  • just water gurgling his exhaust, and maybe a lil water in the carb

  • He probably got a shit load of muddy water up his exhaust when he was backing up.

  • it's possible, the exhuast is hot so the mud dries to the inside and clogs it up, gotta rev it up and clear it out it's best to keep the rpm up when you hit water and mud like that so that doesn't happen

also it'd shut it off and pull it out instead of driving it, take the plugs out and crank it to spit out water if it got in the cylinders

  • Thats why snorkel exists!!!

  • Steam cleaning the cylinders, I see?

  • I'm surprised you got it out!

  • why you be sure to never let it die out or kill the engine when your exhaust is submerged in water.

  • only if the manifold is under water

  • if you kill the engine and the exhaust is completely submerged in water, when you cut it off it will suck in water through the exhaust.

  • TOASTEEE!!!!!

  • lucky he didn't hydro lock it

  • sound ship!!!

  • dude this isnt a fuel cell car O_o

  • yay factory air pick up works great in water huh??

  • trucks should sound like trucks, not outboard motor boats

  • sucks to be you... those engines are a a PAIN in the ass to tear and rebuild... what did you do to fix that... buy a junkyard engine or rebuild it??

  • most definatly sounds like there is water in the cat, but i bet there is water in more places than that...

  • hahahaha

  • sound like you sucked in water

  • Pooooof there goes a valve...

  • i didnt see any "trucks" just one sputtering glorified car

  • Funny, I see a full box framed truck. Unlike Heep Cherokees which are unibody cars.

And for 420witchdoctor, 2nd gen rodeos dont have distributors. They have individual coils on the plugs. But I agree, there is water in the electrics causing the problem.

  • When i was a little kid i had a gocart with a full box frame n i didn't call that a truck either

  • Why do the make the Isuzu Rodeo in two different styles?

[ one truck like, and the other suv like ]

  • he should put a safari exhaust

  • the exaust is under water. he shouldnt of let it turn off

  • I think you have water in the distributor. Take the cap off and find out.

  • did Isuzu use their diesel engines or petrol too? and is it not a bad thing to push the clutch when swimming?

i drove my old vauxhall belmont through a river once and the water was half way up the windscreen but it crawled through at like 1mph with no problems, i just kept the 1mph going and no less, i had a plastic bag covering most of the ignition system. it would of drove through all day and night with no probs but water was getting inside from various places, good fun but weird experience.

  • I wish isuzu would use their diesels in these but GM owns too much of isuzu and wount release the any isuzu with with the diesel.

  • i also have a rodeo, but dont you think tht going in there was a bit too offroad?

  • Jesus, sounded like a diesel.

  • you should have just gunned it forward u would have gotten out a lot faster man

  • It just sounds like the ignition system is shorting out, which really doesn't even hurt the thing. Pop the hood and let it dry..... or get a diesel. If the engine had sucked in any water wouldn't he of gotten hydrolock?

  • Hydrolock? not nessesarilly

you are right, he got some water into the ignitions coilpacks.

But when you suck up a minute ammount of water it sputters like that.

  • Thats what a snorkel is for also I think some of those had chevy engines though water ingestion will kill any engine.

  • They were made by Isuzu assembled by GM.

  • The engine is from honda. Isuzu and nissan have the sister trucks of the passport.

  • The engine (6VD1 or X22SE ) is NOT from honda its an isuzu engine with a GM 4L30E trans the truck is mostly GM. The passport is made by isuzu for honda motor co. if you dont belive me look under the hood against the fire wall on the drivers side upper corner.

  • @hininjalo how do u know that its not an mua5 instead of a 4l30e?

  • sounds like the plug wires got wet, it will make it miss like a bugger, i've had it happen when you just washoff the engine, consider new plug wires they are only about 5 dollars each, and will make a huge difference.. check out my trooper before and after...good luck

  • 1971 - A capital agreement with General Motors is signed.

1972 - The Chevrolet LUV becomes the first Isuzu-built vehicle to be sold in the United States.

Rodeo with Isuzu providing the chassis and GM providing the drivetrain.

  • Piece of shit Japanese cars

  • ISUZU!!!!! dependable, tough!!!

  • Dont' worry abou tit wrxtuner13......He's prolly a chevy lover, I love american cars but honestly preffer the imports due to thier Rugged performance.

  • umm if you dont want it then give it to me fuck, why completely destroy the engine

  • buy a chevy

  • hrm, sounds great LOL

  • HOMO ALERT!!!!!!!!!

  • What a shame! He should have left it when it first got stuck and waited for someone to pull it out. Now hes got a $2k engine rebuild ahead. What a waste of a good Isuzu engine!

  • that engine is finished

  • lmao. who the fuck takes a rodeo muddin. u deserve that.

  • that sounds terrible!

  • it doesn't soun very good

  • Thats way you us a snorkel

  • yeah thats not good for it....
