That boom thing would bug me though, my cam position is the same but on some vice thing clamped to my desk so both hands/arms are free to move around.... and my gradient background fools my cam lol, but focuses on my fingerprint :(
Ohh, I see. I will probably just have to wait and see if they have any sales or something... Nice set up, I always wondered how painters did their toutorials, and i believe you where the first to make a video on in. Thank you. Ohh, and thank you for all of the great videos that you have filmed, your work really is great.
Microsoft Live Movie Maker supports HD video. I do all my videos with that, and it works just fine. It supports the HD coming in as well as outputting HD. In case anyone was wondering.
What kind of light/lamp/whatever do you use? When I take pictures with my digital camera it always end up very dark even with white paper as background.
The light directly over the model is a Full Spectrum HD lamp by Ott-lite. They are kind of pricey but they give you true color and don't strain the eyes like most lamps do.
I liked this! I'll be honest though, I recognized the outline of that DKoK Commissar :). Which looks killer btw. Excellent tutorial for making painting videos.
Those Commissars were my favorite to paint! Think the armies almost 3000 points now, which is massive for Krieg. Do a lil video on that guy if you get the chance! <3 your vids. Hope your products sell well to!
As usual great job. Dudes like you keep this hobby/ community alive and fun, you are my hero.

Hey Les
Old video but I hope you are still commenting comments..
Cool workstation you have there. In the video you mention you use a jewellers magnifying-visor.
What branch and how much magnification do you use?
Im thinking about getting a set but am a little unsure if they are useful at all
