Good for this documentary. We need more like it. I was kicked out of the Air Force 20 years ago for being gay. Rejected by society. It's a shame gay kids are still going through this today. It's time for us as a world, to be done with discrimination against gay people for being born that way.
I feel sorry that these kids had to go through this. I hope they can see that they might have a brighter future ahead of them.
It is great to see something like this out there with the real life stories. Although my 'coming out' with my mom didn't go badly nor with my father, my coming out into the community was another story. I though at first i am free and i am safe in this community of my peers. But they didn't seem to really want me there. and a majority of the time now that same feeling still applies.
Very good job. We hope all the PFLAG Chapters put all 4 in their libraries. We will.
