A rotary that isn't blown is not a rotary. Engine is junk. Get a piston engine in there.

@lejink I guess piston cars get treated better by their owners. Time to get with reality and realize that the rotary is NOT a good engine and most of the time its failure is NOT the owners fault. Get a clue.

Sounds like a dieing COW.... Sounds like a rotor is out.. but when you tried to start it sounded like there is compression on all the rotors... Maybe injector or spark plug eh?

check the seal to the mani. it could be that its busted and its not getting enough gas because of too much airflow

hmm wierd, my rx7 did the same exact thing, same exact sound, but my engine was not blown. My rear rotor was extremly flooded, then trying to start it up to fix it lead to it not starting...then did the deflooding trick and it ran perfect for over a year now
