  • I have a f22a1 that's being built now when I was deciding what motor to run I chose that block because its cheap and solid! They have very little mechanical parts compared to a vtec motor, also a mean motor but more to fail when its time to play. And rebuilds on the f22 block are easy and cheap so you can have as much fun as you want!

  • frigggggiiiin nice!!!!

  • is that even safe for the the f22?

  • I like very much. I have same strut on my 6th gen aha nice

  • and what kinda clear did u use ??

  • @mrexclucive "PPG DBU 2002"

  • hey can u plz tell me the color code for that paint....... i really love the color

  • @mrexclucive (subaru wrx sti world rally blue)

  • @thekidkiller44 no no no you want the k20. both are excellent motors but the k20 will take you farther cheaper.

  • why was the exaust spitting like that @ 0:21?

  • @thinkcream

It's called an anti-lag system. It's mainly used to keep the turbo boost up between shifts, launches, and courners.

  • my car is a 96 accord with a f22b2 non v-tec sadly so i juiced it up so i can get 230hp and 280 torque it has been computer tuned but not dyno im trying to get my freind to do that for me so i can put out the 410hp it was built for

  • @thekidkiller44 do a k20/k24 with boost

  • @deadcell85 I was going to do that on my next car.

  • Is that a WRX wing? Lolwut. Nice coupe though.

  • @pmmjkl WRX wing with World Rally Blue paint.. Nice combo you think?

  • @thekidkiller44 *hatch

  • @TheSmokehouse420 na i said i seen dat monster drink unda the hood bro at 0:41 of the video...

    i dident see you...

  • nice i spoted that monster even nicer ...

  • Hey great video. I was going to turbo charge my Honda Accord but I hear that those turbo chargers decrease engine life and produce excessive. The weather is kinda hot where I live so do you think it would be a bad idea to turbo charge?

  • @TheXboxlover45 It really depends on the condition of your motor. When i turboed mine in the summer, i check every little detail and made sure nothing needed replacment before the stress and heat of the turbo setup. Get a compression test, leak down test, and the basic engine tests before you consider buying anything. If your motor has more then 150k miles id suggest you hold off but my buddy boosted his cd5 with 210k miles at 12psi. Heat will be a major factor after the setup is insalled.

  • @TheSmokehouse420 Thanks i appreciate the help

  • @TheXboxlover45 Buy better cooling fans and radiator to reduce heat inside the bay, aswell as heat wrap the charge pipes and exhaust pipes to keep the heat contained in the pipes. Also carbon fiber hoods help with the heat to.

  • @TheSmokehouse420 you forgot air intake

  • @Typhlosion100. That's charge piping,in boosted applications. The air intake is before the turbo.

  • Hey im rebuilding my F22B1 its getting a major overhaul crank ,pistons, rings Head has been redone new gaskets o rings could i boost it safely at 9 or 10 psi and also any recommendations setup wise.

  • @MarkusMcCoy1 Id go for 1bar on built motor. Then just go for a 50 trim and good wastegate.

  • is it a good idea to turbo my 97 f22b1 with 180k mi on it? ive heard i could rebuild the engine and its would be okay...

  • @CrazyForCooCooPuffs i wouldnt put the money in it unless you plan on rebuilding it soon. 200k wont hold boost.

  • @TheSmokehouse420 ive decided to buy an sti and put a stroker on it =D 2.7l

  • Hey im rebuilding my F22B1 its getting a major overhaul crank ,pistons, rings Head has been redone new gaskets o rings could i boost it safely at 9 or 10 psi and also any recommendations setup wise

  • @MarkusMcCoy1 idk im also asking question like that

  • @MarkusMcCoy1 any kinda budget kit would work good on 10 psi.

  • stock head and block atm. Moving to a new b1 vtec motor in the spring.

  • @TheSmokehouse420 but wouldnt it be more to your advantage to throw anh series in there instead of a f22b1? you can run the h series with the stock f22 trans

  • @gruneygunnar not really because naturally the f22b2 cams are low compression so its a perfect setup for boost. my buddy is running his @ 26psi. i have to start mine all over =(

  • @TheSmokehouse420 hey wherre did u find the clear tailights? cant find them anywhere. i wanna get rid of mine that have alittle bit of orange in them.

  • @gruneygunnar There stock tails but i cleared out the amber in them.

  • @TheSmokehouse420 o shit how did u do it

  • @gruneygunnar take a screw driver and pliers and break off the amber inside the light.

  • dude, ur car is efffin sexy dude, im getting ready to start on my wifes 96 sedan,in a month, by next year hoping to go turbo, what all did you do internally?

  • nice im turbo my f23

  • better than buying an evobaru.

  • how much did the whole turbo setup cost u

  • @vtownHduece

    ~$2000

    parted together

  • @TheSmokehouse420 yea i gotta97 f22b2 accord i wana turbo... what turbo did u end up using? and u bought piece by piece or a kit? hit me back

  • @gruneygunnar I got it piece by piece. I run a garrett super .60 turbo. HKS ssqv. tail wastegate.

  • @TheSmokehouse420 sick, how much hp you pushin?

  • @gruneygunnar 302whp

  • @TheSmokehouse420 Are you saying that you pushed this much power from 10psi???
