  • what an incredible number! saw it when the film first came out...just as hot and super today as it was then. MacRae could really sing but that dance just burned up the screen.

  • Wow! That was HOT! I'm saving this one!

  • I absolutely LOVE Jacques d'Amboise. He was so talented and so tall, strong, and handsome. He makes me swoon every time I see a picture of him. Is it strange to be in love with someone who was born 61 years before myself?

  • @StupidLamb251 Did you see him dancing in "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers?" Charlie

  • Yes, she was a superb talent and even though her career started with comparisons to MM at Fox...this talented jewel of a woman crushed that and became a well respected actress. I miss her! She was just amazing !

  • Mr. D'Amboise wonderful, beautiful. You are still a hearttrob to me. Douglas Alexander John D'Maddalena(matley). THANK YOU

  • FANTASTIC video.... I've always loved Gorden MacRae and the dancing is indeed superb. Into my 'favourite' file it goes. Thanks Charlie for sharing.

  • @maureen1938 I am glad that you like it. It certainly is a great tune. Be good My Buddy. Charlie

  • unreal. such fantastic dancing!

  • Do you have anymore songs from this film? It was one of our favourites growing up and I've searched for it everywhere - it's not availble on DVD and there are no other clips on youtube! If you had them I'd love to see them! :)

  • Great number--as sexy as anything since! AND with the great, straight Jacques d"Amboise making it extra real.

  • @maxreger100 Meaning it would be somewhat less real if he were gay? I don't appreciate the slight. As far as I'm concerned, the sexual orientation of a dancer means nothing. It's how he comes off in a given scene that counts.

  • @Jayee123 You are correct. I simply have wonderful memories of friends of mine in the corps de ballet at City Ballet who were ALL in love with Jacques! (Lucky guy)

But my comment was off base--apologies.

  • Don't know how I've missed this movie all these years. Looks like a treasure.

  • Love all the stars of the old Hollywood musicals especially Howard Keel & Mario Lanza but this guy was the very best!!

  • great clip - thanks for posting!

  • Awesome vid Sir Thanks

  • Now this is a prime example of how a musical number ought to be presented on film...an art form which is sadly no longer. Many thanks for sharing these gems with us.:) From one fellow film buff to another.
