@realvanman1 The transmission has been taken apart & all the internals have been Cryo treated & we installed a Quaife LSD.

@UunonMopo Seriously, when you take off the coil covers & use a ratchet & socket they are easy to get to. You know the LS engines only get the plugs changed like every 60K miles anyway. Google Perfect Union Fiero & you'll see the build thread on this car. There are several pics of the engine in the car without the covers on it & you'll see there is plenty of room.

The G8 gxp uses a 6.2 Ls3. The G8 Gt uses a 6.0 Ls2

What transaxle do you use in this swap, that is durable enough to hold up to an

LS-7? And what does a complete LS-7 crate motor cost? And can you buy the motor along with the computer and harness from G.M.? Or are you guys getting these drivelines out of totaled vehicles?

Actually the headers would be pretty easy to get to. Those chrome covers on the engine pop right off & allow access. Plus you can get to them from below.
