looks cool, but really in my opinion, 2ch helis are just stupid. 2 channels really just aren't enough to control a helicopter. if you end up near a wall, you're pretty much screwed. get a 3 or 4 channel heli.

i flew one over the top of my 2 story house and it lost control, causing it to smash into the roof, tumble off the roof, and smash into the ground. when i picked it back up, there wasnt a scratch on it and it worked perfectly. anyway, i highly reccommend this if you dont want to waste your money on crap that doesnt work.

@rubiksguy890 it took me a while to get the hang of trimming, I found it better to try to trim so it turns left and right at the same speed, don't worry so much about if it is going straight.

The coaxial micro helis are a lot more stable than the ones with the E.T.R.M they just go where you want them to go rather than fighting the controls.

@ssonic116 coaxial helicopters are stable by design and usually more so then single rotor helis.

I noticed the new havoc heli is a 3 channel with a little button for forward flight. I haven't tried it yet but it shows that they advancing.

The pocket copter has been improved since I made this review. This one was a pre production version.

so i got one and i charged it up and used it. i went to re-charge but the light immeditaly turned green soi flew it but it hadn no power. do you know why this keeps happening? and i waited the 15 mins. ?-?

@zeldazoneman the charging mechanism in this helicopter was a little strange, it didn't act like the instructions said it would.

it may look green but not actually be green, their are 2 different colored lights, a red one and a green one.

they are supposed to blink red then green when charging, but i think the 2 lights may be turning on at the same time making it look greenish yellow, so it makes you think it's charged when it's charging.

@rcflighter this one takes a lot of getting used to, it took me a while to figure out how to trim it and fly it, light movements on the stick, and a whole bunch of clicks on the trim.

also i try not to get it flying straight with the trim, i try to get it to turn left and right at the same speed, i correct for the spin manually, their is no gyro on this helicopter so you have to do a lot of correction, but you don't want to over correct.

i heard that bright lights or lots of lights can affect the AR signal of it. i just recently baught the air hogs sharp shooter and it worrks great as soon as you get the trim right but the thing is it starts to spin every were as soon as you go near an open door, a windoer or an airconditioning

@The911SONIC infra red light is all around us and it can easily interference with these little IR heis, the sun produces huge amounts so outdoor flying is hard, florescent lights also produce a large amount of IR interference. normal incandescent light bulbs like most people use at home don't interfere with these very much, and the walls in houses help bounce more of the signal to the receiver on the heli.

without a gyro small air currents have a big affect as well.

The Silver Bullet from Brookstone ($29.95) is also really nice. And, for a little bit more ($49.95) you could go for the cloud force, which is bigger (about 2x the size) but gives you MUCH more controll (You can hover, spin, go backwards and forwards, and has varying turning radii).

when you first take off it gives extra thrust to help you into the air, you just need to be aware of it and correct for it.

I checked out a short video of it, it looked about their normal size a good bit bigger then this one, It was hard to tell how well it flies from his video, but it looked and sounded like the 3 channel helis that we have all become familiar with from companies like syma. @SomeUselessGeek It is very possible, if you want to spend the money, but it would be expensive, however the new airhogs osprey full tilt is able to carry a 10 dollar key chain camera, I've got some great on board video coming soon.

their is an event called the micro aerial vehicle competition, recently some of the entries where putting cameras on ornithopters the size of hummingbirds and having them fly autonomously.

check out the tu delft delfly you'll like it if you haven't seen it yet.
