This is a great idea, but I think the prize should go not to a subscriber, but to a caller. I expect the vast majority of people hearing your offer will promptly comment and subscribe, but most will not bother actually calling, as that takes more effort than hitting the subscribe button. Also, if you make it such that the Peter Schiff campaign has to do a random pick from the caller's list, I expect Peter would then be aware enough of your challenge to popularize it in his Vlog.

You do not need skype to call from Canada. I am from Canada and make at least 100 calls a day myself right from my land line. Canadians call using the exact same process as Americans, not a single extra step.

@GoatsLeaveTheFlock hey goats, you have to visit skype.com & purchase a landline in the state of connecticut, the calls are absolutely free, but you do need the landline. be sure to visit the schiffreport yt page, he has a skype tutorial in his favorites. i was a bit hesitant at first to buy the landline, but ive already donated to the campaign and besides, ive been following schiff for a few years now. id be a complete *sshole not to help out! :) hope you will join the fight :)

How receptive are they? I only have a cell phone, and I hate getting calls to the point to where I put the thing on silent, and let them all go to voice mail. So for me to make a cold call that even I know I'd hate (and yes, I've received calls from both Peter Schiff and Ron Paul because I've donated), I don't know if I could make them. If I won the silver bar, I'd sell it on e-bay and donate the proceeds to the campaign. Prolly kick m'self later in the year, though LOL.

Most of them were responding with "Peter who?" and "I'm too busy right now". The most frustrating thing for me was it seemed like the majority of people I called were very old and could hardly hear. I don't know if that's typical for Connecticut (I'm not a resident) or not. Only 1 guy actually knew who Peter was and had actually read one of Peters books. The guy didn't know Peter was in the primary, but said he'd definitely vote for Peter if he made the ballot.
