RHBS- I listen to PWasher everyday. We are all evil. We all fall short. Except for God's mercy and grace, no one can be saved. Believe on Jesus Christ, He is our hope. God wants all to come to Him. Some of his closest were crooked, murderer's, and the like. No one sin is worse that any other, save blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Jesus died for you, and me, and all. You have to receive the gift and believe. Seek until you find, knock until He opens. He is there.

Ever since I have been hearing Paul Washer's preaching & similar preaching, I feel convicted. I feel like I am in danger. But I cannot save myself, I cannot come to God. will He save me? i feel like there is no hope......I'm too evil to love God. I wish He'd change my heart. I want to live a righteous holy life. whatever that means. I want this, b/c through Paul W. i see a new view on Christ. probably the only view that is true. Im scared. please pray for me.

Lane I have been begging Jesus to save me for days. I thought I was saved for 10 years but I think I was wrong. He is not answering and I am desperately afraid I am not one of the elect. I want to repent but I don't want to repent because I am afraid. I want to repent because of God's love. What else can I do? Please pray for me.

Johnnie, take heart in this: Unbelievers have no concern for being one of God's elect. Believers do. Although you may not quote-unquote "feel" like you're saved, you're providing evidence that you are just by having a desire to be saved. Unbelievers never even consider the notion. Remember, too, that sanctification is a process. It won't happen all overnight so if you're looking for dramatic results all of a sudden, you may be disappointed. Please pm me if you need me.

Yes, so much so that the Spirit will move you to follow Gods Laws and to be careful to walk more and more like Jesus Christ every day in ever increasing measure. If that isn't happening, you are without the Spirit of God and still need to be born again, by that Spirit. God Bless

The Holy Trinity makes perfect sense except for that one piece.

Unless the holy spirit is personal consciousness and NOT something that comes from outside like a "dove on a windowsill".

We are saved by the sacrifice of Jesus dying and rising again, not our own good deeds. God is good, and we try to model ourselves after Jesus, which is God. We have original sin and continue in sin after birth. Jesus is sinless. We can do 'good' deeds, but aren't like "God" good.
