Well it looks like he still had his left foot on the ice. Rozsival was smart not to reach for the puck cause then he easily would have been injured. I think it was a battle of the puck and then there shouldnt be any interference call.

I just think that it's unnecessery (sorry if I wrote that wrong :D) rule. I know, that if you jump and tackle, that's penalty but is it really needed? They do have all kinds of expensive stuff there to protect their bodies :) For example this guy raised up without one moment of injury-danger.

well whether or not its unnecessary, it's still in the rules. and that instance might not have been dangerous, but you don't only enforce a rule if someone gets hurt. leaving your feet makes contact with the head a lot more likely, and he may not have hurt him this time, but that's not why rules are created.

charging = a player takes more than three steps before checking the other player. didnt happen

elbowing = his shoulder hits rozsival. didnt happen

interference = both went after the puck and rozsival jumped on the puck and chooses to take the hit properly. no penalty
