  • it's possible now, technology can do all the hard work now and free us to explore ourselves artistically and spiritually.

  • hei sexy baby

  • @vanillalore hei babs, I'm sexy too

  • BLAME CANADA !!!

  • I hope more and more people will see the wisdom in harmonious living.

  • CAN THEY LIVE IN PIECE? CAN THEY? you people cause wars and destruction. Im not taking sides, but why kill people because of some fucking land

  • WRONG! A LIE! ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT IS THE DEVILS LIE! WAKE UP!

  • @ncbookz hmm interesting. It doesnt fit that label of ecumencial actually.

  • I do agree that a shift is, and will continue to manifest. However, I guy in these videos emits an unlikable vibe ...a false, aggressive, and arrogant vibe, which makes it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to really listen (as he "demands"). If you want to be a charismatic leader, it won't work the way he is going about it.

  • I love the sentiment but "it doesnt matter what reliion you are" sort of kills it stone dead. Religion does nothing but divide us. Loose the religion first, then the dream might have a chance of becoming a reality - I'll drink to that!

  • נחמד מאוד ונכון

  • @thomaskrichevsky let me translate that and get back to you. Shalom!

  • @thomaskrichevsky Thanks. Shalom.

  • Idealism without realism just leads to communities splitting up. Idealism is thinking people who have more commitment to their factious religions than to peace and togetherness can live together in a close community. To truly come together you have to leave behind that which splits up and divides, namely- religion.

  • Time has come for togetherness all compassionate races together and dancing and singing to the one who owns all of this creation with love and respect to all living entities

  • If only Ashkenazi and Sephardi, as well as Mizrahi jews would treat Black Jews (Refering to Actual jews who are black and not Hebrew Israelites), like this. But, that's Israel for ya. Well, that is America for you. What a minute...we get treated like garbage or "Non-Jews" everywhere.

  • Sorry, this is seriously silly. Dont drink the purple juice!

IT matters. Good does not get you into heaven.

  • The question "why should god and science be separate?" is as inane as asking "why should motor oil and cooking oil be separate?"

Science only deals with things that can be empirically tested and verified. If you don't know what that means stay out of science and the education system.

Please if you're one of those people who wonders why god and science can't be separate, do not try to get creationism into schools. I am begging you. Just keep your willful ignorance to yourself.

  • like hippies?

  • Good message.

  • nice.

  • A wonderful forward way of thinking. I noticed the Vatican taking steps in that direction and the Obama administration paying respect of nations the former president regarded with disrespect. And the survival of Israel!! I have just enough Hebrew blood in my veins to want the best, though I am not a follower of religion of any kind other than a curiosity as to the science of no beginnings and no ends.

  • All religions are being distorted by the new religion Secularistic Science. Don't you think?

  • Secularism is being too worldly or too concerned with the physical nature of our world and little regard to the unseen, including the inner workings of the mind that cannot be as yet measured or recorded. I think that religion and secular groups are often very much alike in that regard.

  • "little regard to the unseen, including the inner workings of the mind that cannot be as yet measured or recorded."

It's called psychology and neurology. Look it up.

Here is the difference between science(secular science is redundant since god can not be part of science as it is not empirically verifiable) and religion.

Science demands belief with evidence. It's called knowledge.

Religion demands belief without evidence. It's called faith.

    Which brought you real results?

  • Oops. I missed this on my message box. Just found it. Will responde. You said "Science demands belief without evidence." Science demands too much evidence, many think. Though if it were not that way, then the hi-tech info age we live in would have happened. Religion demands faith in the absence of evidence. Sometimes hope is all that is left. I do not believe in "gods" but am very hopeful there really is a design process we all play a role in. Sorry for the lateness of my reply.

  • "You said Science demands belief without evidence."

    No I did not.

"(Science pays) little regard to the unseen, including the inner workings of the mind"

Bullshit. There are 2 fields of science dedicated specifically to that. One is psychology. The other is called neuroscience which deals with the cognitive structure of the brains. Neuroscience is relatively new but it has already shown that consciousness is fully capable of being produced by the physical brain without a soul.

  • Yeah, your right. You said belief "with" evidence. It's true that mainstream science is very hesitant to probe the mind too serious, as if they cannot take seriously the organ that enables them to consider the very thought of examining itself. I cannot deny that it has been a vocal school of thought, but not one I belong to. Neuroscience is uncovering one of two things: the neuroscience of our connection to the unseen, or a few ounces of flesh that pacifies us so we do not fear death.

  • (cont) I currently reject that this region of mind (not acutally localized) is simply their as a coping mechanism for the brain to deal with death. Socrates and many others recognized that what follows death is either something amazing or a nothing we should not fear for in nothing there is no realization of circumstance. I can only suspect this region of the brain is tethered to something unseen (not God or gods). Something better. The universe is conservative with it's complex bunles of energy

  • "It's true that mainstream science is very hesitant to probe the mind too serious, as if they cannot take seriously"

There must be a word to describe people who willingly talk about things they know nothing about and make stuff up as they go along. You're that person. I'm a psych major and what you're saying is pure nonsense.

  • Are you sure that your psych major is narrowing you ability to think creatively and critically enough to look beyond mere academic and/or religious dogma. That quote you posted lacks the irony I was indicating that we really do not take seriously the hardwired truths and to even consider hardwired features to the mind, you must accept your bias as a brain studying a brain. There are more things in human behavior that are tossed aside despite the aweful truth of their meaning.

  • I hate to be the one to point out to you but you need to first how to use language properly before getting into complex matters like cognitive psychology or neuroscience.

"Are you sure that your psych major is [not] narrowing you ability to think creatively and critically enough"

"You said Science demands belief with[out] evidence."

You can't get my position right, and you can't even state your own position correctly. This is the end of our interlocution.

  • secularism means anything that does not involve god.

Do you want god to be part of science?

On one hand the religious claim that god is neither provable nor disprovable(which I agree with), but here you are implying that science should include god.

Science is based on methodological materialism and empiricism. God is not. If it wasn't for science you would be living in a cave sister with all kinds of diseases and no heater or air conditioner.

Your comment is just plain idiotic.

  • Yes God should be a part of Science. Why keep it separate?

Are they not both aspects of Truth?

  • You sir are an idiot. Obama would be ashamed of you.

Science is another name for methodological materialism. Methodological materialism is based on empiricism. Which means science can only know about things that can be tested.

    God is not testable.

Your stupidity and ignorance seriously irks me. I am appalled at the education system which utterly failed you and turned you into an arrant fool. I can't even describe how disgusted I am at the dangerous naivete of my fellow american.

  • Yes, science cannot test God, He is an ideal being. However philosophy can.

"Science is another name for methodological materialism. Methodological materialism is based on empiricism."

Are you telling us that science is a metaphysical philosophy?

  • "Are you telling us that science is a metaphysical philosophy?"

What is wrong with you people? The other person put words in my mouth and claimed that I said "Science demands belief without evidence" which obviously is untrue. Then you're saying I said science deals with metaphysics.

    Just go away.

  • What is science? Theosophy had something to say about it.

  • @MysterEy1 I do think.. I think you make money of morons by distorting reality, dressing it up to fit the narrow minds of your hosts. Science is not a religion, it's the answer to religion. It is the very thing that has elevated our species above religion, increasing out potentials to be great.. well, some of us.. the rest is just dragging the f*** along like a toilet paper, stuck to one's shoe.

  • you have a very interesting channel and your concepts are very good. keep it up

  • I think all we can do is take it day by day, one day at a time and do our best to help and not hurt.

It's weird that there was a different Icon I saw for your reply than the other one on your channel.

And do you all have a commune where people who didn't previously know each other all live together? If so where is it and how do people join?

  • We have had many Communal experiments. They are all documented. Some of this we're producing as a DVD, some for here on YT.

At present, we have various locations on hold, no concentrated activity.

The goal now is to find the BEST PLACE.

Build it and they will come.

  • Keep in touch. What is your experience with such idealism?

  • I'm a Christian but even though Jesus thought of everyones needs and encouraged all to look out for each other I though this way before I ever became a Christian. I really have trouble understanding people who DONT care for their fellow man(Or woman).

  • The homeless, now increasing in great numbers, have formed communities/tent cities. We need public policy that recognizes and addresses the dire needs of the homeless for resources the rest of us take for granted. Huge tracks of land should be allowed to be homesteaded (again, but with good stewardship in mind - there are excellent teachers) by the millions of disenchanted Americans. Yes, this is the policy and change I want to see in my country that provides for freedom & economic equality.

  • wild bill, so far darlin it's u n me

    i love u 2 bits

    and u know it

    t

  • Mucho Gracias, tu eres especial tambien. I think it translates: Thanks a lot, you are special too.

  • Homeless is just a term with a neg. connotation. How many times in my loife, I could have fit that category! And I tend to call myself a Noble Nomad. Watch the new video TRAVEL (to find utubia)

  • I understand this about you, Peter, but some people are desperate and perhaps all they really need is a little guidance and leadership to bring them to grace. When I speak of the dire needs of the homeless, I'm talking about basic essentials: food, water and at least temporary shelter during inclement weather. But I'd like to see better for everyone, a permanent foundation one can call home. Even if you're a nomad, you at least have a place you can call your sanctuary.

  • Interestingly enough, I used to know a homeless person who *wanted* to be homeless.

When he died, it was discovered that he had millions of dollars in the bank, no will, and no relatives. There was an article about it in the Rutland Herald about it quite some time back.

I remembered serving him coffee while working at the Wal-mart snack bar. He seemed coherent enough that I thought he was just down on his luck.

  • I too have known people who call the streets their home. It's hard to say whether they really prefer such a life style.

  • He had a lot of money. Why he didn't use it, I don't know.

There's a lot of eccentric people in VT. I wouldn't be surprised if there were people who just stuck to the homeless shelters and/or the street. We have a lot of extensive government programs that allow it.

  • Who are you referring to in VT?

  • Oh, I just followed the thread. Sorry! Had to open up all the comments PAGE.
