  • Big lead off on any base BUT third. Because then the catcher will get you in a "pickle"

  • you should never overrun 2nd and 3rd

  • @sugarmypaint1

2nd you could try, with a bit of luck you could reach 3rd base with it.

3rd base indeed dont overrun as you said

  • There's a lot of stuff that wasn't mentioned in this video. I've been playing softball for four years [[high school and recreational]] and one thing you need to know is to NEVER overrun second base. And you should always take a good enough lead off so that you're almost halfway past the base you were already at. Don't take such a big lead off coming from third base though. :)

  • That viedo needs more in it!!! I don't really get stealling 3rd base wish i could find something on that

  • It's the exact same thing.

You can take a bigger lead off at second, because the catcher would have to make a longer throw to pick you off.

Other than that, stealing third is no different than stealing second.

  • well yeah there's a big difference.... its easier for the catcher to throw to 3rd rather than 2nd... you just have to be quick enough and slide properly to make it...lol

  • lol stupi dvid

  • thanx so much i couldnt ever figure this out when i was in a game may 20 i got out for that and i didnt understand and i didnt know how so thank u
