  • So sorry...

  • Too bad about your rocket. Glad you got repaired.

  • The chute was burned, the electronics were un-harmed, the kevlar harness was fine, the whole upper airframe and nose were good. The fin can was salvagable. Just a 3 foot section of airframe was lost and the hardware was bent and busted. I "over"built the fin can and good thing I did. The rocket has been rebuilt and a waits it's first flight.

  • No this was not a cert flight. Yes it was an EX load. And as it turns out the reason for the CATO was the nozzle. I used the commercial nozzle and not the recomended "EX" nozzle. There was a lack of communication in the ordering of the hardware and I thought received the "EX" nozzle when in-fact I had the commercial nozzle. I never double checked. I picked up the hardware from the vendor and loaded the grains. Many so called "experts" claimed my formula was off. But now I know my work was rite

  • so was that your EX motor (didn't think you could use EX for a cert flight)

    or was it a reload?

  • sorry about that , but remember nasa had bad days also

  • not good sorry about it

  • Not as bad as black 5 eh? XD

    Was anything recoverable?
