my connection has been acting up lately for the past 3 to 4 months before mw3 came out... i have a 50mbps down and 5up speed... i've tried 2 new modems 2 new routers a new xbox different tv's and all sorts of av cables.... i've searched running computers to see if i was botted or if it had a rat... and so far so good... i've done anuator db's to lower the power level on the downstream power because i noticed they were a little high... i've tried forwarding ports... DMZ and still no luck... HELP

It takes a few times to get it. Connection issues are within your ISP because the fastest connection I have ever seen in India is 268 kBps. gl

My brother and I experience frequent disconnections almost every day, and most of the time we are playing a great game of zombies or close to a nuke in MW2 or in the middle of a multiplayer game with a 5 KD. And when someone gets on their laptop in the house, we get disconnected from Xbox LIVE. We also experience lag a lot. We have a D-Link router, but I don't know what kind. Plus, my dad isn't the best with technology. But I'm saving up for a new router and I'm gonna try to lock it.

Almost EVERY time I do good in a game, I get disconnected. Like 30-5 on round 1 of Demolition in Black Ops, and one time I got a nuke, but while I was still in my chopper, I got disconnected. It sucks.

hosting mw2 clan try outs just send a message to "TrIx X epiCZZ" i should invite you within 1 min or so (unless im offline) the try outs will contain 1 FFA and you showing off your trick shots in priv then going online and trying to hit 2-3 trick shots on SnD dosnt have to be GWK ( the rules on the trick shots may veary) hopefully i will be recording some clips tomorrow thanks!

People, you have to realise, that the Mw2 ping system doesn't work properly. As it doesn't ping to everyone as if things was happening in game. I join <50 games all the time on PC. Sometimes I get up to 80 or 100 (i expanded the amount of bars I have, I have 10, lets me see every 20 ping interval.). Witch is a pain to a spoiled brat who is used to dedicated servers with 16-20 ping. (I'm in sweden.)

There's no way to fix it. Other than good upload bandwidth which increases your chance for host.

@Knockie02 google black ops optimal settigns, cos the lag isnt from servers. if ur too lazy to google, first uncheck sync every frame from options and change that one setting to trilateral, and if u have a good computer change ur texture quality to extra. again use google :D

Black Ops matchmaking sucks, there's nothing you can do! Usually it won't even let you connect to a server and it will just freeze. BUT when it does happen to connect, the game is 12-188 points for the other team.
