When you think everything is someone else´s fault, you will suffer a lot. When you realize that everything springs only from yourself, you will learn both peace and joy. Pride leads to violence and evil. The truly good gaze upon everything with love and understanding.

If you have fear of some pain or suffering, you should examine whether there is anything you can do about it. If you can, there is no need to worry about it; if you cannot do anything, then there is also no need to worry.

This speech is SO shallow.You cannot suggest to someone "Be compassionate and you'll be happy".True compassion is not a decision of the intellect no one acquires this quality because someone else suggested so,(of course you can fake it-we see that a lot in fake teachers) .Compassion arises naturally when the veil of ignorance gradually becomes thinner.I did't hear anything on how to eradicate bad habits that fortify ignorance,cause that's really the problem.
