Great video, but the shaver cutter as used by the Royal Navy and the RNLI was not tested.
The test did not look at what happened when a rope was caught by a propeller blade. In the test the rope or debris was fixed at the bearing end, there by drawing the rope across the scissor and disc cutters. When debris is caught by the prop blade it winds with the shaft rather than having the shaft spinning under fixed debris. Look for the quicKutter video this shows debris caught by a propeller blade.
