i have brawl and melee. I've played Brawl for 2 years. Then I picked up Melee again, and actually for the first time. And I was fascinated by all the options you have because of Wavedashing, L-Cancelling mainly. Seriously, Brawl cannot even compete with Melee.

Now I'm looking forward to Project M :D

This is "Melee Menu", not "Battlefield". They play on the same stage, but the titles are different.

Of course there is. It's a console game. But there's less, and they don't affect the game quite as much. Things like foxtrotting and wave-dashing don't unbalance the game like they used to. Or slide-grabbing.

melee is better in game play because u can wave dash and all the chars are faster but in brawl the chars are slower and they do more damge which kinda cheap......also in melee u couldnt do really strong hits that would take u to 75% like in brawl

They got rid of glitches, which was all the wave dashing was. Slower means more controlled, more balanced duels. Manuvering, rather than mad, jerky fights. The damage levels have hardly changed. And there's absolutely nothing in SSBB that takes you up to 75% all at once.

my friend just asked me a stupid gustion:do you like melee or brawl better? BRAWL OBVIOUSLY! Its not like ssbm is bad or anything but brawl 100 times better. (im sure all the melee fans that dont have brawl will give me thumbs down)

Eh. They're pretty much exactly the same game. Brawl just has more "stuff".

yeah, Melee and Brawl are the same game, its just that Brawl has more characters, items, stages, etc. In terms of more content, brawl is better. But in terms of gameplay, they're pretty much the same. You can't really like brawl better than melee because they play the same, although some people may like brawl more because of the content, and thats understandable, and I myself like brawl more.

They're similar games. I'd say Brawl, simply because of the greater content. That, and Snake. Oh, and the single player in Brawl was massively better.
