This show hit America by storm when it came out, immediately. It was SO different (and still is) from any thing else ever on tv. I remember even my 7th grade English teacher was telling us that the show was brilliant and used it to show an example of great writing. Really cool!

I hate the opening credits (both versions) from season 1. i hate how Dan pushes DJ away from the table and how Roseanne scratches her nose at the beginning. Darlene stares at the table doing nothing. In the other version, Crystal laughs maniacally at no one in particular near the end of the credits.
