If we withdrew from the Middle East and stopped interfering we would not provoke terrorism, we would save thousands of our own soilders lives and Middle Eastern lives. 10% of the billions saved could be spent on securing our borders and fisheries properly. 10% on the NHS and so on and improve all our lives.

@mrsunseeker I don't believe we should have joined this war but pulling our troops out now is the worst possible thing we can do. Do you think that the bombings will just stop because we're out of their country? The bombings will get worse as the Taliban regain ground and resources. The Taliban will never surrender or accept peace terms, we must push them out of the country and train the ANP to take control and maintain order.

@RATMfanforlife The "can't stop because we have started" argument rattled out by Bush now repeated here. So basically any time a government want to have a war all they need to do is start it then you and all the sheep will support them because it exists.... "we can't cut and run."

@RATMfanforlife Er why do the taliban have to surrender and accept terms from a foreign invading military power? Or any other Iraquis. Did I miss a meeting? Last time I looked, Iraq was 99% stable and war free until a dictator who was neccecarry to keep all the tribes unified as Iraqi, was removed by an undemocratic violent proccess.
