As sweet and approachable as you may seem, a relative stranger showing up uninvited to such a remote area is definitely spooky. I mean, I'm a dude and that would creep me out and I don't creep-out easily. I'll admit I've thought you'd be a cool chick to hang out with, have a beer and talk to because you're pretty and interesting, but for somebody to track you down like that is pathetic and as you put it ''violating''. Glad to see you overcome it.

stalkers are low lifes, but youtube stalkers are a special breed of stalker, it's a whole new low. but tbh posting vids like "Happy for Peabo Stick" will attract the oddballs plus your very good looking and i wouldn't be surprised if borat came looking for you some day with his sack. the best thing to do is to shoot one of them and the rest will leave you a lone. but it's impressive that they found your home, we should have sent the stalkers over to find bin ladden. they would have found him.
not an enviable position to be in.. here's hoping you've seen/heard the last of that person. that they'd go to such lengths in order to track you down, speaks volumes about their mental state.
There's a saying that every man's home is his castle, but I always thought that no one should have to live in a fortress... sorry to hear about what happened to you, it's probably one of the reasons you chose to live in seclusion for a while in the first place... the experience sounds dreadful but thankfully you came through it. I totally understand what it's like to feel violated in that way. I met a guy online that I had talked to for a few months and he found out where I lived and called me up on the phone asking to be let in. When I said no, he proceeded to sit outside my house for about 2 hours.
As far as people who I subscribe to I cannot think of a person that does not deserve this more. I enjoy your vlogs because of the sincere and sweet person that you seem to be. Wow, so sorry about all that. I've had one un-announced visitor from YouTube who somehow found my house (most maps have the neighborhood all wrong; professional delivery guys can't find us), but it turned alright. Certainly nothing involving law enforcement.

I just found out last night how to get a general idea of where someone lives just by their e-mail. So if I can do it, a computer nerd could get oodles of info off the net.
Thankfully, since I use an air card, my email info says I could be anywhere from a farm outside Wichita Kansas, on the freeway in Charlotte, NC, or in a cemetery in Los Angeles. So, yeah, I'm talking to you from the neither world. But if you have a cable modem, and you send several emails over time, game over.

Well, I of course got the phone call, and I spent the next three hours picking salt rock out of my best friends ass while he cried like a baby in a tub full of hot water. I have to say it was emotionally scaring, for what has been seen cannot be un-seen.

My brother has had to deal with a few (thankfully nonviolent) stalkers over the years. It's startling how some people go to the creepy place like that. No respect for boundaries or privacy. Some were over enthusiastic fans who got it in their heads that it was okay to drop by our home, and others had to have judicial intervention.

One thing I learned working with a lot of women that were going through stalking and abuse issues is that one can never be careful and that being a little paranoid sometimes might just save your life... since you are on the internet I would be real cautious before ever giving anyone the benifit of the doubt with personal info about yourself.. it's bad enough that people can use the web to hack or find addresses and whatnot... hope everything is going better on all fronts...
It seems peculiar to the visual media that a certain type of person can create an imaginary relationship with someone they don't know at all they become convinced is real. I've just had to nip something similar in the bud. It was enitirely delusional but even my saying so to them they didn't seem to get it. I had an online stalker. Still do. It's why I never comment on videos anymore, stopped using my twitter account, made sure all my friends who were real friends knew if i was me by way of passcode to ensure they knew it was me speaking, not the other person. Stalkers DO suck. Never had it to the extreme where they came to my house, but they pretty much did all they could to screw up my life.

Wow, so sorry about all that. I've had one un-announced visitor from YouTube who somehow found my house (most maps have the neighborhood all wrong; professional delivery guys can't find us), but it turned alright. Certainly nothing involving law enforcement.

I just found out last night how to get a general idea of where someone lives just by their e-mail. So if I can do it, a computer nerd could get oodles of info off the net.
Thankfully, since I use an air card, my email info says I could be anywhere from a farm outside Wichita Kansas, on the freeway in Charlotte, NC, or in a cemetery in Los Angeles. So, yeah, I'm talking to you from the neither world. But if you have a cable modem, and you send several emails over time, game over.

@HeidiSaid I had a friend who was caught on someones property and got a load of rock salt in his ass.Oh he was invited,but not by daddy, and apparently daddy did not like teen aged boys climbing out his windows at night. Well, I of course got the phone call, and I spent the next three hours picking salt rock out of my best friends ass while he cried like a baby in a tub full of hot water. I have to say it was emotionally scaring, for what has been seen cannot be un-seen.

My brother has had to deal with a few (thankfully nonviolent) stalkers over the years. It's startling how some people go to the creepy place like that. No respect for boundaries or privacy. Some were over enthusiastic fans who got it in their heads that it was okay to drop by our home, and others had to have judicial intervention.
I am always so happy that you are strong, smart, careful and prepared! First local bears, now a f'ing stalker? I must up production of good thoughts for you!

Oh - didn't expect that. Last I heard you were going to become a townie & I figured that's the last time we'll see you around here - too many distracting things in towns to leave time much time for tubing. Guess that wasn't it.
It's scary to have uninviteds showing up, yet I can't help but feel for them. Months of planning & scheming only serve to bring their delusions up against a brick wall in a blue uniform (and months of procedure) ... surely it's kinder to just shoot them in the head.

One thing I learned working with a lot of women that were going through stalking and abuse issues is that one can never be careful and that being a little paranoid sometimes might just save your life... since you are on the internet I would be real cautious before ever giving anyone the benifit of the doubt with personal info about yourself.. it's bad enough that people can use the web to hack or find addresses and whatnot... hope everything is going better on all fronts...

It seems peculiar to the visual media that a certain type of person can create an imaginary relationship with someone they don't know at all they become convinced is real. I've just had to nip something similar in the bud. It was enitirely delusional but even my saying so to them they didn't seem to get it. Why on earth would someone in their right mind turn up uninvited? I'm sorry this has had such a lasting impact but will hopefully encourage others to be very cautious. Nice to see you

I have empathy for this. I'm off all social websites except YT due to similar problems earlier this year. I didn't give in but am tired of it anyway. I limit my internet nowadays and have found it more interesting actually. You seemed to have made it through ok, for which I'm glad.

I had an online stalker. Still do. It's why I never comment on videos anymore, stopped using my twitter account, made sure all my friends who were real friends knew if i was me by way of passcode to ensure they knew it was me speaking, not the other person. Stalkers DO suck. Never had it to the extreme where they came to my house, but they pretty much did all they could to screw up my life.

Sorry to hear that. I had a stalker once too but it was only online and never in person. The police I called were incredibly helpful and in a short time it was able to become just a memory. I am glad you have gotten this person to stop. *hugs*
