@TheHawk545 It really is, and I also recommend you the new game of the same guys, Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

@parasoldat66 I think it really depends on the person that plays the game. I found the environment of Amnesia more scarier that Penumbra's environment, but the 'running-from-monsters' part was a lot crazier in Penumbra in my opinion. Still, I recommend both games. They are by far the best survival horror's for PC

@DarkMmNn Well... the running away from monsters is the most scary thing of the game.. So i guess penumbra is even scarier than Amnesia.. Think i might buy it tho.

1 question can you fight the demons??

In Black plague you can throw things to them, but you can't kill the "monsters", except one. In the other episode, there are wolves, and you can fight them and kill'em. The game mostly focuses on the scary things than fighting/action
