You got sg very wrong if you think this is a pro war film. "War is a drug" is its main message and that's not positive at all. Maybe you felt that it ignored the suffering of the iraqi people. But it didn't. It just had some other things to say as well. Sticking to the soldiers' perspective was a great way to show the misunderstanding, uncertainty, and the fear on both sides. And about people being happy in war... THIS may be the REAL shocking truth about wars: We do them, because we like it.
