Listening on headphones. To my ears, the delays are a little distracting. Might sound a bit more natural as a mono delay. Or just shorter. Great playing as always dhalif. You rock.
yeah absolutely - best way to record acoustic guitars is a combination of room mics and a direct connection. direct gives you the clearest sense of contact with the strings and as you observe, the tone of the guitar is served far better by room mics.
Not to mention sublime composition and excellent playing. :)
The backing acoustic was recorded dry without any delay but using the same technique, the only difference with the lead tone is the introduction 1 repeat delay with super low mix.... im liking it!!
